Hmm. that means that The Cutting Room Floor MML Page needs to be edited if it is used. i think that that page could use some improvement in general. especially the Prototypes section.

I know a little bit about how legends works in general so here is some info. First i recommend you getting an MML editing tool made by xdaniel (He posted it recently in his twitter. But i think if you too lazy to search you can just ask him.) it can view some of the game files and has ability to extract any file from game archives in raw format. You would need that to extract .MSG files which contain all message data for current level. Unfortunately the program does not have an import option so you have to get that on your own. Also you would need to understand how those message files actually work because i have no idea. Same for SFX(.VAB .SEQ) files. Unfortunately it only works with psx version. All three versions of the game store Voice acting a bit differently so here is some info for each. PSX: All of the files related to voice acting are in XA folder. You can easily view them in any XA sound viewer. (I use XAPLAY for these purposes. Which also has Export option.) so after you got all clips and edited them you have to compile a brand new XA file. Can't say anything about that particular process but i am sure you can google some info about it. Then when you have all of the edited file (Make sure that you keep lenghts and sizes as close as possible.) You can put them back with a program like CDMage. If it says that file is too heavy and asks to truncate it you better not. but if the differemce is really small i think it wont hurt that much. PC: All voices in pc version is just raw sound data that you can open with program Like Audacity. Everything else is just about deleting old sounds and inserting new ones. File names and sounds order were kept the same as psx version so its even easier. N64: All of the n64 sounds were heavily compressed so they sound twice as worse. you should apply the same thing to yours. You can get N64 sounds by using N64 SoundList Tool which you can get at Goldeneye Vault. you can both import and export with it. But i cant give any confirmations that it will actually work since last time i tried it with other game it didnt. All long voice files(Custcene voices) were cut into small pieces for the sake of saving space. So you'll need to do the approitate thing. Also to note that all Cutscene files has bot voices and surrounding sounds connected into single track so making a perfect Dub would be probably a problem.

Not MML2 Related. But i didn't want to create another topic so i post it here. I ripped Megam... I mean Rock... I mean Trigger! From Tatsunoko VS Capcom. Nothing Interesting actually. i just noticed that this model wasn't on Models Resource. Also i did one custom model. but i already talked about it in my VG Resource Topic. so you can read about it here. www.vg-resource.com/thread-29150-post-631454.html#pid631454---------- Well. Some magical power created topic for me. Thats cool

Well. That info is actually helpful. Thanks for that. I hope that it woudn't be hard to find him. Because it would be interesting to hear about recording process. Hm. Interesting how many copies of those phones with the game installed exist? And why capcom even decided make such game for such bizzarre platform? And the most annoying fact that they didn't port it to anything. Making it even more rare than that Capcom Friendly Club MML Proto.

But how did people get thoose videos recorded then? I can't actually watch thoose because my internet is crap. I dont think that somebody created a software to record video for such specific phone.

I mean. There is plenty of videos exist. But i ve been searching for whole day but i didn't find anything. Of course i know that piracy is no good but i think there is no way to get it otherwise now. And besides wasn't this game was free to download? I would really like to check it out because my soul is literally dying right now. The series is so good i simply can't let it go(Well i still havent did a lot of sidequests in first game so there is no need for that). I had the same feeling when i completed The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess. But at least Zelda series has a lot of games that i still haven't completed yet compared to MML. So is there a way to play it on my own? Because that would be great.

I believe you may have received quicker reception had you made an introductory post. For forums that have been around for nearly 15 years, I'd say we're doing quite well for ourselves in activity, especially if you count our official Discord server. Remarks about activity are really quite unnecessary. I'm glad you figured out the solution to your problem on your own though. I'm sorry I'm not more technically proficient in dissecting games and so therefore couldn't help. Only a handful of people in MMLS actually are, and it's possible they either missed your post, or got distracted by other matters in life that made them forget. It happens to me sometimes when I see a topic I had meant to comment on, and I wouldn't blame others if that were the case. Should you decide to stay, I'd recommend introducing yourself so we can learn more about what got you into Legends, what fascinates you about it, what your technical findings are, etc. That way, everybody can approach you a bit more openly, and possibly forward your further inquiries to the proper parties so you get what you're looking for faster. Enjoy your stay at Megaman Legends Station! Wait what 15 YEARS? you know i am myself 15 years now. (damn now i feel both old and guilty because i called this place dead ) well. if you didn't helped with my problem(which is not a problem anymore even) doesn't mean that you are a bad person or something. your reply is still very appreciated. besides yeah i think i really should introduce myself first. i will probably do this right after this message. I was going to post something about that beautiful Roll model you ripped, but since I don't know anything about ripping models I felt my comment would be pointless, that's why most of the time I don't post anything. Even now, I feel this post is meaningless as it didn't helped you solved your problem and it may cause the thread to become off topic. Glad you liked it You know even if i created this topic because i wanted to ask a question doesn't mean you can't write anything besides it. anything would be nice to have. even if you just wanted to say that it's a nice rip. Also i already posted this model (with other 2 that i have ripped) to The Models Resource so now i need to wait when they get approved so anybody can get it!

So. i was able to rip model from megaman legends 2. it wasn't that hard really. But there is one problem with it. first i explain how i did this. and by the way i used DASH2PC. Well as first i needed to launch the game in hardware mode. unfortunately on my windows 7 64bits the game just shows black screen. so i installed a windows xp virtual machine and installed game on it. thankfully it launched perfectly . so next thing i did is tried to catch geometry with ninja ripper. at first i thinked that everything ripped fine. but there is that stupid thing with some old games that the game renders only the visible side of the model. so if you look backwards there is nothing. i found a solution to this. i just catched geometry from both sides of the model and then sticked them together in 3d editor. result looked like this (sorry for crappy transparency) Looks nice but there is problem. for example in cutscenes it's almost immpossible to get 2 clean shots from both sides. and that's very sad because cutscenes have that cool higher poly models. So why i even here. a noticed that there is some guys that know more about technical side of this game than me. so i want to ask is there some way to edit camera position and rotation in cutscenes? because that will be great.
