I would like to point out something that has been bothering me. You see while flipping through the instruction manuals and looking at the character profiles, I suddenly became aware of this little thing which i'm sure everyone has realized as well. In the Megaman legends inst. book His name is printed to be Bomb Bonne, the same applies for the Megaman Legends 2 inst. book, however in the misadventures of tron bonne, his name changes to bon bonne. Now comes the tricky part! This is either A) a big mistake made by the people at capcom OR B) the wierd antics of some fickle character designers. Also you have to realize that since the misadventures came out before MML2 but after MML it means they went from Bomb to Bon and back to Bomb. By majority vote it would seem that his name would be Bomb bonne seeing as how 2 out of 3 books say so. *exhale sharply* So which by popular consensus of the MMLS IS IT!

I think you meant to have a "?" at the end of the last sentence, correct? Well by everything I've heard and what I post on my site it's Bon! Capcom is notorious for mistakes like that in their instruction booklets.
So, the games themselves are the sources to trust. I don't believe that Bon's name is actually written out in MML1, but it certainly is in MOTB, as well as in the credits of MML2. Bon Bonne.

I think that the "Bomb" was probably a mistake. Even though it was spelled this way in the MML1 instruction booklet, the other Bonnes clearly call him "Bon," so I'll go with that too.
Not sure about Legends 2, though, since I haven't played it in a while. Is his name even spoken in that game? Seems to me like he kind of faded into the background at that point.
