I have brought this up cause the one thing I hate about the game is the ruins. That brings up a question. What do you think about 'em?

*stares blankly at m0ter again* WHAT!!! Ok, it's your opinion not mine. I on the other hand, I love the ruins. It's fun to blow/kill/beat up reaverbots. Then they go boom! I like big explosives.

Ruins= Money.
And a little senseless destruction that isn't being delayed by plot movement is quite entertaining.
By the way, Rage? Your Avvy looks like he has the mumps...

I can't say I hate the ruins, but I don't really like them as much as fighting pirates outside them. Although the reaverbots, the system, and the mystery surrounding them are a crucial element of the Legends plot, I've always preferred the battles on the surface with the Bonnes and Glyde and even the underground fights with Bola and Klaymoor to the actual Reaverbot fights. Those fights always had a certain special something about them that just gave them character, as opposed to just blowing up random reaverbots to make money. I don't really think much about most of the stuff I do in the ruins, like about the Reaverbots or the treasure or anything, but I constantly find myself looking back on fights with the Bonnes and other pirates with fondness and all that sentimental rot. The ruins just seem so repetitive and generic (moreso in the first game, but the same goes for the second, especially for the longer ones like Nino...)

Actually, that is in the first game where are of the ruins are connected together. I probably misunderstood that, please explain,P.U.X Will with this game, the ruins were more complex, diverse, and had it's own little quirks to them. For example in Saul Kada ruins, you get to meet the reaverbot that eats you. This reaverbot: www.legends-station.com/forum/caption03.jpg . Yes it's from the Caption Contest if anybody didn't know.

I love the ruins! They are the key points of each game, and they have that intriguing sense to them.

I love the ruins! They are the key points of each game, and they have that intriguing sense to them. Actually, to me it really seemed that the ruins were most crucial in MML2. The focal point in MML appeared to be surface character development, and there were really only three scenarios where you even go into ruins in MoTB--the Nakkai ruins, the digout, and the sort-of ruins before the Colossus. Of course, since this is in MML2, the ruins are sort of "key" as you put it...probably because they put keys in there, but still...

MML is nothing withouth the ruins my liege, that's what the game is all about, to recover ancient technology that was lost.

True, but what makes MML a memorable experience is that crazy cast of characters. The SECOND game may be about recovering ancient technology and discovering Mega Man's past, but I always saw MML as a game about a family of pirates struggling to make it on their own in the world, and about a family of diggers that got stranded on an island and just want to get off. The game may end up centered around the enigmatic system, and gamers may spend the bulk of their time in the ruins looking for treasure, but the events that transpire above ground just have a lot more meaning to them than the stuff that goes on in the ruins.

What does not being shonen jump fan go to the romance with Rock and Roll. That was random. Did they work on the game. I"m confused Oh, well never mind. Yes, even though the character are great (and the npc) in the first game. The npc kind of mindless. I don't think I could really remember a random npc that had personality in the game except the really big red guy, who rams into the fence on Saul Kada.

I hate Nino ruins except for the abilities. As for Saul Kada the only thing I hate are those munchie munchie things. It may sound strange, but I like the lava.
