I recently played Legends 2 and TMOTB and I noticed something. At the start, you see Glyde teaming up with the Bonnes, but what gets me thinking is how Glyde gets out of Jail at the end of TMOTB? I know TMOTB takes place before Legends 1, but there's no mention of neither Glyde nor Mr. Loath, and yet they magically appear in Legends 2 (Excluding Mr. Loath strangely enough). Is there something I missed, or is this just one of Capcom's plotholes?

No, it wasn't explained anywhere to my knowledge, but I wouldn’t call it a plot hole so much as another one of those things that they simply left unexplained. MoTB takes place before Legends 1. Between then and Legends 2, at least a year or two has passed. Plenty of time for them to either escape or get bailed out. Loathe and Glyde seem to be the type of people who would have planned for such thing. Or at least, have enough cash stashed away for the bail. Then, there is always the possibility that the Bonnes broke them out when they needed help in Legends 2. And let’s not forget the Birdbots. I don’t believe they were captured, so they could have done any number of things to help them.
There is plenty of room for speculation, but in any case, Glyde got out somewhere along the line and teamed up with the Bonnes, probably at the prospect of being able to locate the Mother Lode. Capcom just left out the details.

Yeah, I'd imagine there was some way for them to retrieve enough cash to make bail. Loathe isn't the smartest, but you must admit, he is apparently pretty wealthy. Even if they had to break out, you know those police weren't the smartest piece of straw... among a larger quantity of straw. You know, this brings another good question to mind; can it be such a coincidence that the Birdbots and the Servbots look so similar? Is it possible that Glyde copied the design? How many are there anyways? They must be pretty expendable if they actually blow up completely in that last MoTB mission.

Maybe he got out of jail Team Rocket style...he shoveled his way out!!
Ok, really. I just thought Mr. Loath had police on the inside or something, so he was let free. Or maybe the birdbots bailed them out?

Come to think of it, Loathe does seem to own an extensive amount of other property. He has holdings in Sart Farm, and Birdbots also manage the casino in Casino Town Nukky. So there probably are others on the outside to bail them.

If they did escape or get bailed out, it probably happened during the attack on Kattelox, while the Bonnes were nice and occupied. But what happened to Loathe after MoTB? He doesn't appear to be as agile as Glyde, so maybe he got caught again. Or maybe the police caught him while he was making his getaway.

That, or they'll explain it in Legends 3. Say... For 2 years, Loathe has been developing a killer machine to take down the Bonnes and he unleashes it. As the epic battle rages on between the two pirate groups, Megaman and Roll are caught in the middle of it all. That's it! Perfect Legends 3!

Um, no... Sera and Megaman have to destroy all the parts of the system all over Terra. That's most likely how Legends 3 will begin. (It's in Japan-only right now) And to my knowledge MoTB was BETWEEN Legends 1 and 2.
EDIT: ... I dunno what got me believing MoTB was between the two games. Confirmed it was before Legends 1. Sorry about that.

Myeah, your idea makes some sort of sense, if it weren't for one problem:
MoTB takes place after Legends 1, doesn't it? It's inbetween MML1 and MML2...
EDIT: Wow, owned before I could own. Good jorb, Xero.

Pretty sure there's no Legends 3 anywhere right now; both Capcoms (CoJ and CoA) seem to claim that there is no new Legends in development right now. I don't remember ever seeing one in Japan, unless your talking about Namco x Capcom. Yes, I believe MoTB was supposed to go before the other two in the timeline... Wait a minute, where did the Bonnes get another whole Gesselshaft between Megaman Legends 1 and 2!?

They didn't. You never know where those Draches all came from. The order is, was, and always will be MoTB, MML, MML2. They built the gesselschaft right before MoTB, it got destroyed in MML, and then came MML2. Got it? Good.

I beg to differ (sorry to argue again). Take out your trusty copy of MML2 and simply watch the opening. When it shows the Sulfur bottom, one of the ships is that are visible is the Gesselshaft outfitted with a clunky disguise as the aircraft of a news crew. Now I know, it may not seem like that's the Gesselshaft at first, but it is quite obviously a green ship with a white underbelly, and the Bonnes are there disguised as news reporters.

Alright, concrete proof is at the end of MToTB. "Continued in Legends 1". Nothing to discuss here. Besides, Legends 2 takes approximately 1 year after Legends 1, and at the end of Legends 1, the Bonnes were in possession of a huge refractor.
Um, no... Legends 3 is not out anywhere, infact, it's not even in development (atleast, not officially) and as you can tell, my post regarding the Bonnes vs Loathe's Team was just a joke.

Hmmmm...a green ship with a white underbelly...but how in the world did they get the money to build another Gesselschaft if they wasted the big refractor on a department store that went under anway? That's kind of...weird. Maybe the Bonnes painted a Drache or something to look like the Gesselschaft?

That's not the Gesselschaft. If it were you'd see it later on in the game. I'm pretty sure that ship belongs to the woman Yuna shoved in the locker and her crew.
