In grade 7, I got Mega Man Legends 2 and Pokemon Gold/Silver for Christmas. I remember my mom leaving me one present to open beside my bedroom door and I woke up at 4m to play Legends 2 and the game starts out with a very Christmasy vibe, the snow filled city of Yosyonke, etc. Very fuzzy memories! There's no other way to play this game for the first time than on Christmas Day! I was already a fan of the series long before I played Legends 2. I already owned Legends 1 and The Misadventures.

I am actually just now playing through MML2! I have been a huge fan of MML1 as I got that as a kid for christmas and LOVED it  . I got Megaman 64 (Nintendo port) so I never had the chance to play MML2 as I did not have a playstation. |

I got Legends 2 for Christmas in the 7th grade as well, and yes, Yosyonke had the perfect Christmas vibe. I forget where I got stuck the first time but 100%, that's the date I'd recommend to crack it open for the first time, too.
