*Shrill squeaking noise of a musty, half-rotted wooden door slowly opening before detaching from its rusted hinges & falling onto the floor.*Wowzers. It's been a while, eh? Over... four years since my last post in Dragon Romper 3 to be exact. Not even my profile picture survived the test of time, meaning I've had to use my very first forum provided avatar instead! Nostalgiaaaaaaaaa! *Ahem.* Now we're all aware that these days the 'cool' kids are using Discord servers and whatnot, but I wanted to see just how many people are willing to indulge me here a little. That is, if anybody even thinks to check the forum nowadays. Let us have... a thread to post in. No tricks, no gimmicks. Just a nice, civil discussion. I'm really curious how everyone has ended up in the year 2022. How has life been? Any dreams or aspirations you're still aiming towards? Have you taken a look at this website recently and reflected back in time? Do you think I'm a flake for not finishing Dragon Romper 3? I remember joining this place back when I was sixteen. Now I'm, uh, older. Probably a bit less mentally developed than my younger self was - life was more stimulating back then. But I still feel like me! Some people seem to feel a bit more disconnected as they get older in that regard, so I'm grateful that I'm fundamentally the same person, albeit a bit more experienced in life. Oh, and while I may have written this up as a big advertisement to the veteran userbase of MMLS, anybody is welcome to post! I did see a few new faces, so let me quickly say you're more than welcome to chime in too!

I'm not dead yet, just bored. Really, really bored. And exhausted. I prefer forums to Discord for archival purposes, and with everything in constant flux, now I don't know anything about anything anymore. But so help you if you violate a rule out there. But if anything, I'm not flaky and totally didn't abandon Dragon Romper 3 upon my character's untimely demise. Plot armor is for babies!

It's been a decent year so far. It's hard to believe that in three months, I'll have been a member of MMLS for two years. I hope that we'll have 5 Islands extracted and preserved by the end of this year. Our preservation team has made some serious headway in the past few months. The DASH Daibouken Guide English scanlation project is also 73% done, so fingers crossed that it'll get finished by the end of the year. There's an incredible good developer scribbles that haven't been translated before. And if luck has it, maybe we'll even have the 4th island of 5 Islands dubbed by the end of year. I'm reprising my role as video editor. No pressure on Dashe or the new Tron VA; they've got enough on their plates. Glad to see you around, Kyle!

Hello everyone! I also went missing for a long time, been really busy doing my webcomics, I'm not a pro yet, and I don't receive any income from my art, but I'm slowly growing a fan base, I have 1K subs on Spanish webtoon, it's a large number but considerably small compared to the big hits on that platform, but I'm happy with what I have created so far. My comic is actually some sort of fusion between Danganronpa and Among Us, it is titled "Impostor Student: Game Royale" I will try to be a bit more active on this forum because I feel like my English skills are deteriorating, and I also miss talking about Legends stuff. It's nice to read you guys again!

Hey Kyle, and everyone else. I still check in, albeit not as much as I used to. Post? You'd be lucky. I'd be a fool not to respond to a thread addressing the community as a whole no matter how late it ends up being! I'm in a better position to be a pensioner than a moderator but ultimately I'm quick to the draw if you know where to find me and it's brought to my attention. This year's been great. Mostly if not only because this month has brought the first sign of normal hours for the job I've worked since frigging late 2019 early 2020. Two years of straight overtime weeks otherwise. They even tallied up something like 150k overtime hours that they put their employees through due to COVID, which hasn't been so prominent this year. Crazy huh? This year also brought the death of my mother. Not looking for sympathy and haven't mentioned it on Discord either, it is what it is. She was 55 and had complications during a biopsy for her cancer. It's every bit as scary and potentially nasty as it sounds so I can only hope everybody takes better care of themselves than she did. The bar she set wasn't the highest, so I'm not too horribly worried. It's been just over a month since her passing, so I'd say the family's in better spirits these days too. The year giveth, the year taketh away. As far as Megaman Legends contributions to the community, I've got nothing. It's also been so long since I've played the game that I'd be doing good to remember anything specific if not a random silly Trigger face that he makes only a single time in the entirety of MML1 just cuz the one on Discord is too low quality to be worth keeping. You can ask MLT about that one. Still happy to see all of the artwork people find and forward for me to look at. You're all appreciated for that. That's all I got. Keep living long and living strong!

I totally didn't missclick my favorite tab list on Chrome. Nope.
2022 has been... stupid. That's probably the best way to describe it. I moved away in 2020 to live by myself but the job I was at kicked me out at the end of last year for lack of recourses to pay me. Or so they say. So ever since then I've been job hunting, getting very few replies back from companies and the ones I do, I try for a couple weeks and they kick me out. Mostly because only call center and commercial jobs are the only ones that take literally anyone.
But boy it is a long time huh. I can't even remember when I joined. But I do recall that this was the first forum where I finally had figured out how forums work and to not post on months old threads with "Cool!" or something. basically this place taught me some net etiquette. I wish I could say I had good memories but unless I revisit all my posts I can't remember a single thing due to my brain not enjoying keeping stock of long term memories. Oh well. At least I have a rough idea that I've been having fun! and that's enough for me.

I still check in on this plce once in a while. Though outside the Secret Santa projects, the last thing I really did was my old artwork thread. I mused over posting in that one again, but that would be a bit of necroposting, so if I do post more art, I might make a new thread, or link my primary site for now. It's still up in the air.

Oh hey Raven! It's perfectly fine to necro your own art thread. Necroing, especially now that we get like...maybe five posts a year max, is more for actual Legends content, where you might've dug up a 15-year-old Roll vs. Tron debate where nobody in it is around anymore and we didn't know there would be a Legends 3 prototype at all. I'd only create a new art thread if I were totally switching styles and content around, or your entire old one is just broken Photobucket links and you don't want to go to the trouble of repairing them. Glad to see you're still alive!

I still have the bulk of my physical portfolio intact, so I can see about giving it a try. Most of my recent stuff is digital, but still has strong roots in my sketchbooks.

Saw this thread and managed to log back in with my old account that I haven't been on since 2010-ish. It's been wild, huh? I basically joined this site coming off of being a teenager and now I'm 32, graduated college, have had a major job, lost a major job, had a house. All sorts of wild things. I'm still online of course, and still remember the Legends series and this site fondly.
