Before I post anything, I'd like to point out it will only be preview points since it's basically at least 15 chapters and I plan to make it a book. It will be a series of a few books and I think I'll only go from the Prologue to chapter 3? Basic point, it wouldn't be the entire thing. I guess you guys will also get to see how things are going. Again, for at least the fifth time, I'm rewriting it all. Keep in mind it may not be the completely final draft, just the rough, so there will be repetitive words or grammar errors and small things because it'll go through two revisions for these errors and a spell/grammar check. Anyways, yeah. Now, you're probably wandering what this "Wolf Generations" is and I'll give you a short summary: Daisy, a brown wolf born on Purple Mountain, must go through the difficulties of an everyday dispersal wolf and fight to survive. These dangers include hunters, vicious wolf packs, and any other threats. It may not sound oh so exciting but I guess you'll have to get through it first and maybe you'll like it, depending what you like reading. Anyways, here's the prologue.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prologue:
The sun kissed the sandy terrain, basking the entire Purple Mountain in summer’s heat. The golden blades of grass stood up like a forest of trees in autumn, but in patches, except these ‘trees’ billowed along the ground smoothly, following the wind that tried to pull them along. Failing to do so, it’d pick up some grains of sand and drop them shortly after. Hazel colored bushes with leaves sharp enough to sting and sticks to the finest point that could leave scratches dotted the land. There was a cluster under a full grown tree, standing strong and proud with branches outstretched in all directions, shadowing the land on a hill. Among the bushes and under the tree stood two orange, pointy ears that rotated from time to time. The exact pair of ears belonged to an orange female wolf, and she was completely alert to every little thing. Her pinkish nose twitched, sniffing the air. Nothing changed so far. The distinct smell of other wolves, but too far for her to worry of, was her biggest threat other than the few coyotes that dared wonder close to her. Other scents were of the tree, the bushes, and a few hares in the area. Things were peaceful there, but still she couldn’t help but worry. Her head lowered, licking the brown and orange bundle of fur by her belly, suckling and kneading. The wolf couldn’t have been more prouder of her only pup, even if she was only barely born. Her eyes and ears hadn’t opened yet.
The bushes rustled. The mother wolf got to her paws quickly, her pup complaining slightly to the sudden change and the loss of her food. Her fur bristled and she growled, tail up to show she’d be the dominant wolf and her ears angled forward. White fangs bared, but she relaxed at the sight of the brown male showing himself, a goose with feathers as white as the moon dangling lifelessly, limply in his jaws. The beautiful, white feathers were stained with a crimson red color that dripped and oozed from the neck wound, which the wolf had it by, and ran down its neck and chest. He, the male, had a blood stained muzzle, more specifically his lips. As he approached his settling mate who curled around the pup, he placed the goose down in front of her. “Here.” He nosed it closer then backed away, sitting and curling his tail around his paws. “How is Daisy, Fire?”
Fire, the orange female, looked up at him from nosing her pup back to her belly. “She’s fine, and she’s been eating. At this rate she’ll be a strong wolf.” Happiness lit up her amber eyes. Her first pup, and she was thriving well. “Are you finished hunting, Dust?”
Dust shook his head, now standing and turning to leave. “I’ll need something for myself too, but I’ll be back. Howl if any trouble comes up, and I’ll be here before you know it.” With that and the rustle of the bushes and grass, he was gone and left her there, alone with Daisy. Fire placed her tail over her nursing pup, her head resting on her paws. With little rays of sunlight seeping through the shadows given by the tree, she was fairly protected from the light’s heat. Everything was at peace around her, too. There wasn’t a hint of wolves, other than her mate, close by, or close enough to be a threat. Her ears perked at the sound of the grass rustling, spotting the tan pelt of a hare as it quickly darted down the shallow slope of the hill where the tree and she rested. Curiosity caught her attention at what could’ve startled it so easily, but then again such creatures were always alert and skittish. Just to rest her worries that her pup may be in danger, she stood to sniff the air and listen for anything odd.
Fear paralyzed her as the scent of gunpowder drifted into her nostrils, her nose twitching. Her fur could only bristle and stand on end while she bared her fangs. Fire could also smell the pitiful scent of dogs whom held a bloody scent, also a nasty smell of human items and humans themselves. She turned to grab her pup, yelping with startle as she was caught by the neck and tossed down by a canine, a dog, with fur a white as the Burnt Forest’s trees. The orange female scratched into its chest, hind legs kicking at it to get it off frantically while she viciously bit at the shoulders, scruff, and ear tips. She had managed to bite the ear, sinking her teeth through the flesh and shaking her head quickly until it let go in a howl, pulling away while the ear went limp in her ear. The mother dropped it, getting up quickly and lunging for her whimpering pup, crawling towards the grass to hide as the rest of the dogs emerged in a flurry, howling and barking so loud it rang in her ears. The white dog howled loudly as a tall figure emerged, blood trickling where the ear was absent. However, it paid no attention and only raised a shiny, black stick towards her as she scrambled backwards. Quickly, she hid her pup from the aim of it, bracing herself to take the black pebble it’d shoot into her.
Silence rang over the area other than the sound of the stick going off, ringing in her ears. Fire had shut her eyes tightly, tense. Feeling no sharp pain, she slowly opened her eyes and looked to find the brown fur of her mate, who stood protectively in front of her. Through his thick fur, she could see a small hole which bled. She winced then whined, looking at him as he looked back slightly. “Dust..”
“Go. Get out of here quickly with Daisy. If they catch us both, we’ll both be dead. Now go!” Dust growled softly, his fur bristling out and his fangs baring. She was about to object through Daisy’s fur when he touched her shoulder with his tail softly. “We’ll meet again. I promise. Now go.”
Regretfully, she obeyed, running down the slope. Her eyes went wide slightly as she caught the figure of a black dog with tan markings lunge for her, only to be pounced on by Dust as he roared in rage, biting at the canine. She could only leave them there, Dust fighting against the entire group with more aggression than she had seen before. He even lunged for the owner fighting for stick until the dogs piled on him, only for him to break free. The snarls and barks and pounding of each set of paws dug its way into her memory.
Now, there she darted across the desert-like terrain for the Burnt Forest quickly, her eyes wide with fear for her mate. Each step made Daisy give soft sounds of objection as she bumped into her mother’s chest. It was her fear that drove her faster and faster, paws thudding on the hot sand. It was once she was close to the tall, white trees that she stopped, placing Daisy down and panting, looking back in the direction she came from and staring, trying to see what happened. She even took a few steps toward the direction, careful not to wander too far from her pup. In the distance, she could’ve sworn she saw the figures of then all- the dogs, the human, and her mate- close together until they all broke apart, leaving other than Dust.
Quickly, she turned for her pup, picking her up and running back. For some reason or another, a bad feeling- no, a dreadful feeling- grew in her as she got closer and closer. Still a bit off, she froze in fear as the gunshot rang in the air loud enough to scare some coyotes and hares into hiding. It was then she had the worst feeling ever, a feeling so unbearable it was indescribable how much it bothered her. Once regaining herself, Fire continued in the direction while praying to herself that Dust was alright. Once close, but at the same time far, she slowed to a walk and lowered her body to the ground, crawling closer until she stopped, laying and watching the cluster of golden grass for her mate. The orange female’s body tensed as she watched the dogs limp away with their human, each a bloody mess and limping. Was her mate that powerful that he did so much damage? Fire then noticed the face of the human. It was red, but not from blood. The color of it changed and the eyes showed great hostility and anger that it concerned her. The human’s paws were also clenched tightly into balls and the entire body shook.
Cautious now, Fire crawled towards the grass while watching them all leave, stopping in fear they would spot her. It wasn’t until they were completely gone that she stalked through the grass, calling softly for her mate in whimpers. Before she could keep looking, she dug at a spot, making a small hollow and nosing her pup in. It was deep enough a coyote couldn’t reach in and snatch the pup, but big enough the pup fit. “I’ll be back, just wait here. Don’t leave.”
Daisy only curled up in the back, quickly falling asleep. Satisfied her pup was safe, she turned to leave and resume looking for her mate through the grass. It was then she cursed choosing the place as a sort of den. Stepping out into the clearing when she scented the heavy scent of blood, she yelped softly as she fell forward in a sticky, red puddle. Quickly, she pulled herself up and began licking the blood off her front legs. Fire stood, staring at the red fluid her paws were in, following it to the source. It was the sight that made her freeze, shaking and tucking her tail. She was in absolute disbelief, crouching low and whimpering. Her ears flicked back, pressing to her skull. “D-Dust, no! Please no!”
Before the female laid a brown male, limp and sprawled out on his back. His beautiful, dark green eyes were glazed and lifeless, but somehow showed all the agonizing pain he went through in his last moments. Though it was hard to see with the blood almost completely hiding them from the scratches on them. The wolf’s pelt and blood held grains of sand. Also, his fangs were still bared, and his tense muscles under his fur notified that he had fought with much force and aggression before dying. All across Dust’s body were numerous bite marks and claw marks. He even had that same wound in his shoulder, and a new one in his chest. His ears were shredded, and his tail with terrible torn. What caught Fire’s eye the most was the gash on his throat that still bled out. She had to look away, whining loudly.
Looking at the area around her other that her deceased mate, she saw fur of brown, white, black, and a few other colors lightly shifting on the ground with the suddenly freezing wind, or at least it felt freezing to her despite the sun. Droplets of blood stained the ground and grass like fresh rain’s remains after it’s gone, and claw marks had carved themselves into the soil. Fire shut her eyes tightly, whimpering. All she could see was the image of her mate, quickly opening her eyes. Weakly and barely able to cope with the sight of him in such a way, she crawled closer, nosing his scruff. “Dust, please no. You can’t be dead.”
No response, which somehow eased her, and was obvious. She wasn’t sure how she’d cope with her mate speaking to her as he bled out and died before her. Softly, she licked his wounds and nosed him. “Dust, please, this can’t be happening! What about me? What about Daisy? We need you.” She hung her head, laying with him and curling around him as she cried and buried her head into his fur. It scared her how he was still warm, like he was alive. “Dust, don’t go! Y-You promised!”
Longingly and desperate, but also with horror, she looked into his glazed eyes, making herself small. “I love you. Please let us meet again.” She placed her paws on him softly, resting her head between her paws. What was she to do next now that he was gone, dead? “Dust,” she spoke softly, trembling before tossing her head back and howling to the setting sky that stained the mountain a red-violet color until it disappeared behind the Dead Cliffs and leaving her in total darkness with nothing but the murder scene and her pup waiting in the grass.

Due to plagiarism, I couldn't do the ending I wanted which basically would of gone down like: "Oh, why is this happening? There's no reason for me to go on.." She trembled against his body, claws digging into his fur slightly. The entire mountain was kissed by red light as the sun slowly went down. Fire bared her fangs slightly, throwing her head back in a howl as the ball of light disappeared behind the Dead Cliffs and left her in darkness, "WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOORRRRRR?"
I'd like to see your endings with those three lines. Edit it and describe it more than my summary, but you have to keep those three lines. I'd be interested how everybody imagines it. May I note that Fire is an orange wolf with a lighter under-belly and orange eyes, Dust is brown with green eyes, and Daisy is brown with an orange under-belly and dark orange eyes. The area is sand on a small hill slope in a pond, and the nest is under a tree(brown with green leaves, sort of a pine tree) and the grass is long and golden. So yeah. Here.
