Interesting thing I've just been informed of - GOG.com is currently giving away Fallout, Fallout 2, and Tactics for the next 36-odd-hours. The games are good examples of late 90s PC RPGs, and I'd encourage anyone who - Does not already have a copy
- Doesn't have a digital, easily accessible copy
- Hasn't played them (?!?!)
...to take advantage of the promotion.
Should the games not work as intended (which shouldn't be the case, since GOG is usually good about updating the games to the best of their ability) consulting nma-fallout.com for the respective community patches would be the way to go. I'd provide links, but nma is blocked from my current access point.

No, I'm going to play Duke 3D. Shooters are a lot faster-paced and it'd let me blast Christmas music while beating alien bastards.
