This is a thread where I'll post my poetry works, stories and other things. But like the title says, it'll be mostly poetry.
I'll start with a poem I wrote about Flandre Scarlet from the Touhou franchise.
The Treasure who was Hidden
"For years coming to an eternity,
Love, hate, insanity.
Like the heros in tales,
They never come for me.
The witch flies away from me,
The maid never speaks to me,
The priestess lay shame on me,
...
My sister loves me?
I feel empty,
Empty as the place I have been forced into.
My wings, dripping in the crystals that glow with a feint light.
My golden blonde hair flowing like wind in the spring.
My eyes shine like royal red rubies.
My body is a treasure...
...but my life, a mistake?
I cannot think straight,
The lines,
Crooked, broken, bent out of shape.
My mind,
Confusion, spinning, dizziness.
I have wings, but cannot fly.
I have a mouth, but cannot scream.
I must fly away...
...
I must scream."
This is one of my older poems, but still one of my favorites. Tell me what you think and if you want me to post more poems!

Huh. I was never really able to understand poetry, and never watched the show it's based off of, but it's always nice to see different stuff. You don't really get a lot of poets around here, so fire away!
Touhou is a show, right?

I'll be sure to post as many poems as I can! Thanks! Touhou is a game. It's for the PC and it's a Danmaku (translates to "Bullet-Hell") shoot'em up. Here's a video with some gameplay in it. The player is fighting the person I wrote the poem about, Flandre Scarlet. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZu2O_JQ4vs

This one is called "Soar, I Cannot"
I always wanted to fly,
I wanted to touch the sky,
I wanted to feel her hands,
Grasp in mine.
Alas, I have no wings.
To soar, there is no way.
Sadly, I can never feel.
The hands of night and day.
My tears fall to the ground,
They too, cannot fly.
But they flow to the Earth,
And she hears my cries.
"The grounds is your home, do not leave."
She says
Her hands grasp mine, I say.
"Never again"
