So I decided to break out Mega Man Legends 2 and play through it only this time I decided I would play it on my PS3. Today I noticed that when I got to Pokte Ruins and entered I was treated with this "lovely" view... And that's it... the game stops here. I would just blame the disc but I tried playing it on my PS2 and had absolutely no issues, so now I have to wonder if one of Sony's firmware updates inadvertently broke the game. Would there be anyone willing to check and see if they are having the same problem? I know it takes a good 40 minutes to get to this point in the game and that's rushing it, so I understand if it would be too much to ask. If anyone is wondering, I am playing on a PS3 Slim running the latest firmware.

Nope, I've played legends 2 plenty of times on PS3 and this was never a problem. I don't think it should be either, so if your disc is really dirty or scratched I would try cleaning it first, if not buff out the scratches

That sounds like a disc error; I've played through MML2 plenty on the PS3 with no issues whatsoever. I did get a similar issue with a different game (Legend of Legaia), but I'm assuming that it's a disc issue since it's a really old copy.
