Actual artwork in the Art Forum?! BLASPHEMY!! Hah, joking. But in any case, I do not regret making this. Enjoy as I go get my Kevlar Jacket Omega in the event you all feel the need to shoot me for creating such an abomination to our beloved franchise.

Umm... what exactly is this? Are these Over-1 color schemes or something?
Did you draw that yourself? Great work.

It's just a recolor of official art from Command Mission. The original picture's on X's page in the MMKB. This is what it normally looks like.

I'll look for my old scribbles of both Mega and Elec Man when I can find them. They're terrible, but that would count as shameless if I posted them anyway.
Also, the color scheme for the second picture in the first row reminds me of Pluto from the fifth Mega Man game on the Game Boy.

They all look like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic themes to me. Counterclockwise from the top left, you've got Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie.

Huh. Didn't actually expect any replies here. Well, Dashe's right with both of her posts. Although it is that of Command Mission X, and that they are recolours of the Mane Six, it took a lot of work to trim out all the blurs that a JPEG holds so that these turned out as clear and sharp as they are now. But what's even more shameless is that I made Weapons for each pallet, as well as a description. Plus, the following list has them sorted in the order I'd prefer to fight each one to manipulate the next one's weakness, like any MegaMan X player would to make fights easier on themselves.
Buckshot Apple [Ammo: 40][Damage: 5] Normal: Lobs three apples in an arc. Can bypass shields. Charged [Uses 5 Ammo]: Pulls apple tree from the ground to act as a shield. Timbers after taking 20 damage, causing 10 damage.
Gemstone Spear [Ammo: 10][Damage: 15] Normal: Launches a high-velocity jewel spike forward. Shatters into four small sharp shards that cause 5 damaged when walked over if coming into contact with terrain or shields. Charged [Uses 2 Ammo]: Creates a spiked crystal shield in front of X that causes 20 Damage on contact, then launches five Gemstone Spears in a fanned-out pattern when the attack button is released or after forty seconds.
Spectrum Blitz [Ammo: 15][Damage: 10] Normal: Converts Dashing into high-speed shield-piercing physical ramming attacks. Extends Dashing speed and distance. Creates multicoloured explosion on impact with enemy. Can bypass shields. Charged [Uses 5 Ammo]: Causes X to hop slightly before "Dashing" downwards with the same properties as the normal attack. Upon landing, creates two electrical shockwaves that crawl along floor and walls, but dissipates upon meeting the ceiling.
Party Cannon [Ammo: 30][Damage: 3] Normal: Launches a balloon forward, which will float upwards after the attack button is released. Charged [Uses 3 Ammo]: Fires a short-ranged burst of compressed confetti that causes 15 Damage. Can bypass shields.
Timid Flash [Ammo: 6][Damage: 0] Normal: Creates a blinding light that will stun all enemies making visual contact. Slows the movement of enemies facing away from X. Does not effect enemies shielding their eyes. Charged [Uses 3 Ammo]: Creates an intense light that will cause 50 Damage to all enemies on screen. Can bypass shields.
Magic Missile [Ammo: 25][Damage: 10] Normal: Fires an orb of energy in front of X that will fly straight towards the nearest enemy. Cannot change trajectory after finding a target. Explodes upon contact with terrain and enemies. Is reflected backwards in a random trajectory upon contact with shields. Charged [Uses 5 Ammo]: Launches three orbs of energy that will fly directly towards the three nearest enemies causing 15 Damage. Explodes upon contact with enemy. Can bypass shields and terrain.
...I am so going to get shot for this load of bullshit.

...you all feel the need to shoot me for creating such an abomination to our beloved franchise. There's really 2 things wrong with this; the first is that I wasn't aware Megaman X had become 'our beloved franchise', and the second is that I don't think anyone here would shoot you and use this as the justification. My initial impression of the piece was that you might be making some sort of reference to Andy Warhol's paintings of Marilyn Monroe, and making some sort of statement related to it. Knowing now that it's just MLP-related and has no greater purpose or statement behind it is a bit disappointing.

No, by "our beloved franchise" I meant MegaMan in general. And there are a lot of people out there who would shoot the likes of me for references like this if given the chance.

You'd be surprised how many people here actually don't like Mega Man in general and just like Legends. "Our beloved franchise" would've been way more accurate over at someplace like TMMN.
If I were doing this, I'd be more straightforward from the start that this is an MLP-themed X recolor and included the weapon stats up there with the pictures, since those seem to be more your work than the images. Being misleading is much worse than liking My Little Pony.

fwiw, I LOVE Mega Man in general. And yes, this is an abomination, but the only people would get it are bronies, so you didn't have anything to worry about from the rest of us until Dashe revealed the true nature of this travesty. But... um... I can see how this would hold artistic merit, so... yeah... Edit: But he's missing a mane or something. Also where's the cutie marks?

Yeah. It's terrible. I'm a terrible person for making this. Anyhow, SketchMan, I planned to include the neon scarf, but that would take too much unnecessary space. About the manes and Cutie Marks, that, just like the scarf, would have required me to add more hard work to something that was difficult to clean up to begin with. Plus, the colour schemes already have attributes from them, in the armour lights and secondary and tertiary armour colour (What is normally white and gold in the original).

Yeah, I was referring to the scarf when I mentioned manes :S
Anyway... umm... this is so interesting, though. I wonder what kind of powers he'd get from them

Yeah. It's terrible. I'm a terrible person for making this. Could we get an apology to go with that statement? ...Interesting choice of recolouring, though. Shading definitely needs work. Especially if you're going to use a vibrant colour like pink.
