It's been years, and years since I played the PSX version of MML, but I only had rented it, and never bought it, but I just recently got the PC version...ahem. I noticed alot of talk of custom patch's and some other stuff. But from the posts I searched I could not find the answers, any help would great, thanks. The voice's kinda skip and mismatch in the beginning of the game, my comp can def run it, and all drivers are up to date(perhaps to up to date for it)and the control's are just horrid, so I'll probably pick up a controller at walmart soon, so I can kinda deal with that, unless I could change to WASD movement, that would just rule. The screen tearing I havn't heard of. Also, randomly, it returned to the main menu about 2-3 minutes into the game, I think I hit CTRL or alt and it happened...annoying. I really want to play this, as it's an unforgettable game to me for some reason. thanks for any help on improoving the PC version. I can see you all love the game too

I don't know of any patches... But there are people trying to change character models. Not sure if they ever completed that project...
About voice skips and such, it all depends on many factors. Maybe you don't have the right screen resolution or maybe, if there is an option, to lower/slow down the game speed. Perhaps the most up-to-date drivers needed to play the game are the problem. I once had to downgrade a driver because a game wouldn't work with the newest version. (I think it was a problem with Direct X...)
For your other questions, I have no idea. Sorry. ^^;
