Haven't had a chance to check everything out other than the awesome previews (Internet has been spotty at best), but I in fact was not able to gain access to a scanner. I still plan to put out a properly scanned version of my submission just for completion's sake. Merry Christmas to all. I'll edit this post with my thoughts (or make a new one if somebody posts after...) Edit 1: Thank you Handlebar! My heart is warmed :13: Edit 2: Awesome stuff all around. Trigger's Snowy Return made me d'aww, and so did "I'll tell you a story"

I suppose I should explain my choice of media for this year... ... Call it lazyness, it took me around 2 hours to record (yes, I sometimes gagged, some of those outtakes are ACTUAL outtakes and I even used recording programs that were stupid as hell until I found one right at my laptop that I haven't seen, sadly it's a trial version but since I never used it...) You are asking why I went even further and be bold enough to let my face show up. Well. To tell you the truth, I didn't feel like putting on a mask (I hate masks). I thought of putting a santa hat and sunglasses but I was not able to see the recording with those. And yes, Mikey, it is really hard to talk to a webcam, I experienced it first time now. And if my stupid accent English was not enough (I hope you can understand at least 50% of my words), the little nervousness was.... ugh.
I'm sorry if I couldn't tell you were doing my request Dashe, it is a very good one to tell you the truth. I really wonder what the Master has to hide... XD At least You enjoyed what I did. And I am glad you all enjoyed. The "Jump, jump Slide Slide", it's obvious Forstman stage from megaman 8... I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT WAS ON MY HEAD THAT NIGHT. It just popped in my head and I added it to the end. Fun fact: I was to use a fedora hat and play the first song in a loop.
Another notes: 2:51 - I wanted to make my entrance while spinning on my chair but my room is not wide enough for that. I panicked when I realized that and the camera was rolling. And yes sometimes I do panic in English, what can I say, I like English language that much. 3:11 - You wanna know what I was about to say before the power went out? I was saying that Juno is actually a... *power outage* 4:00 - That explosion was premeditated, however I did not know WHEN it would pop, hence the coughing of my surprise. 4:32 - That was supposed to be at the end of the normal play but somehow the "On your Cinemas, Right now" just blurted from my mouth and I couldn't stop it. 4:36 - This is a replay of an actual outtake I had but I lost the recording of it. So I had to do it again because I thought it was funny. 4:48 - I... really don't know where I was going with this... I was making stuff up as I spoke and... yeah, that's no acting. I really found myself without anything to say. Again I wanted to wear a fedora hat here, so hence the strong pronunciation of my speech which was to add to the comedy.
I really like everybody's submission's all around, special attention to MLT's because I stared at it for hours and I couldn't stop lauding, sketchman's for taking the theme into a level I would never think of (I was afraid that assignment would end up being mine actually), and Blyka's because... I don't know... a sole Horroko... a book, a white plain and a Christmas tree... everything looks so good for reasons I cannot explain. ... Also the light is just perfect... WHAT MIRACLE YOU MADE HERE? And don't tell me you were in a thunderstorm and waited for a lightning to flash.

Kinda late in commenting on this, but better late than never, eh? While I knew this was a much smaller turnout than the past couple of years, I was surprised to discover that it was in fact the smallest Secret Santa yet. Regardless I think it was a great year with a lot of variety, effort and imagination. And it's very cool that we all finished our assignment on time. Nice job, everyone. Dashe*returns brofist* Thanks! Interestingly enough, I had planned for interior lighting to be a big part of mine as well, maybe with Christmas lights for the tree, cutting the box out from behind the moon and putting a flashlight there, that sort of thing, but time didn't really allow for it. The lighting definitely turned out neat in yours, though; that's cool you got to go all out with that aspect. I was just going to go with a camera flash in mine as nothing was coming out well with the flashlight attempts, but aiming a single LED flashlight at the moon turned out surprisingly atmospheric (even if it did cast some undesirable shadows here and about). Not exactly the intricate lighting setup I had planned, but thankfully it turned out pretty neat anyway. @mltYou're most welcome! I must apologize for the rush job that it was (more on that in a minute); intended it to be a neater scene, generally better made, a couple more reaverbots, and so on, but time and circumstances had other ideas. I'm glad you liked it, anyway. Also, I must say I found yours to be fantastic. Your humorous concept was well-executed with humorous style, providing plenty of laughs. Awesome job despite your corner cutting. DraggeMany thanks for the pic! The Master's face is full of twisted expression, and of course just seeing the Master in his Santa getup is most hilarious. Well done. ;D SketchMan3 & MegaTugaThanks! I'm glad you both enjoyed my piece. Now, a few words about my pic. The theme I had in mind even before I received my assignment was simply paper; everything in the box is 100% paper, attached to whatever with double-faced tape *coughexceptforthebookstaplecoughwasinahurrycough*. With tree trimmings and reaverbot detail this naturally meant a bit of meticulous scissor work (the moon is just a bit bigger than a quarter coin; everything's pretty small), and as life would have it, the day I chose to do this found me under a high-wind warning, threatening the power with every gust. I enjoyed putting the piece together, but careful cutting is hardly the most relaxing activity when you're in a hurry. :06: And so, I had to shave off a few intended hours in order to make certain it got in on time, as I was convinced the power would go out at any moment. And then the winds calmed down shortly thereafter. You win again, Life. Anyway, good fun this year. Hope you all had a merry Christmas, and I wish you a happy New Year!

I know I'm pathetically late, but I really did enjoy what I got and wanted to say thanks sketchman3! Reaverbots and the Bonnes together in a fun situation equals epic win!
Thanks for comments on mine, people. They are indeed wooden figures, about 6 1/2 inches tall and the rocket's about a foot tall. The darkening was done with a wood burner, kind of like a thick calligraphy pen that you plug into the wall and it heats up... I wish the amount of work I put into those ridiculous things showed more. XP

Hey, fAB. I'm glad you liked it. I had a tough time figuring out what to draw for such a an abstract theme (I'm a more object oriented guy). Oh, btw, I got my scanner working: mmls.proboards.com/post/85757/threadEdit: Hope you don't mind me bumping this. Haven't had internet all the beginning of this year.
