Sweet, so the main site preview unveiling will be up either late tonight or tomorrow morning, yes? Can't wait to start jamming that Refresh button.

It should be, but that's fAB's doing, not mine. I really haven't got any control over when he puts them up. :17:

Yeah, they've been up for a few hours. I'd say the one that stands out the most is "BAM", which is probably from somebody to HF, since 'stuff blowing up' comes to mind. Enjoy, yah?

Not a bad batch this year. I can guess many of these but there are others that make me completely wondering in a "what the hell" sense.
Probably somebody took a request from last year I suppose ... that or I don't see which is which.
Ah I love the Legends characters-shaped cork tops. They look very cute
*presses F5 a few more times* ... dang I can't guess which one is from my request, then again mine was very vague. XD

I'm not sure when fAB's going to get the full images hosted on the main site and hit the start button on the grand unveiling, exactly, but I'm dishing out badges at exactly midnight EST. A belated Happy Chanukah to all! Oh no, I shot my eye out!

*Tips hat to Santa fAB* Thanks! So. If you can't tell, which I don't blame you if you can't, I attempted to create a diorama featuring Mega Man Trigger attempting in vain to access The Master's Diary, which is password-protected and therefore a secret. I also lit it up manually with Christmas lights. No exterior lighting or flash photography was used. Ultimately, it turned out about as well as the dioramas I had to make in grade school did. At least this time I had a car and a budget so any sloppiness was on me instead of on my mom not being able or willing to drive me to the store to buy diorama supplies. Some insanely masochistic part of me wants to keep doing this and littering my house with the discarded husks of dioramas every time someone gives me a box, just so I can experiment with lighting. I liked the lighting part the best. I wonder what kinds of other weird light stuff I can do. MegaTuga - Yours turned out hilarious. Mr. Ninja and I spent the morning watching it instead of eating breakfast. The "Jump Jump! Slide Slide!" thing was a huge hit with him because we stayed up very late last night accidentally killing each other in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and somehow that actually came up in conversation. From him. I didn't inception it in there because I watched the video early! Raven - Thanks! I'm actually looking at your older Secret Santas and checking out how your art's evolved since you started doing these. You seem to have upped the detail this year. I don't think I noticed Tinker sleeping in the box when you handed this in, either. What's in the gifts, a load of junk Pic scrounged up? Jokes aside, it's nice to see you posting more Legends art, even if it is for a badge! Keep it up as always! fAB - It's always good to see someone trying something that hasn't been done for a Secret Santa before. Despite Tuga's hypothesis I'd been thinking you'd whittled these out of blocks or small logs or something. Not sure how you made it dark, either. Did you set it on very concentrated fire or something? Using the sheet for snow was super effective! MLT - This is the kind of thing I could probably watch for hours and not tire of. I wonder if it could be compressed into avatar size. That'd actually make a fun avatar to have during the holiday season. Sketchman - Oh, sweet, you did send in a scanned version! Looks like Teisel's going to get a fireball to the face, eh? The Bonnes must've forgotten they have servbots and a Finkel for things like that. That's just like them. Chao - The thing that amuses me most about this picture is that Mega Man looks like he's trying to eat a burger and fried chicken with chopsticks, and Roll is using a fork. I wonder if they have utensil wars every night... HF - Ah, white board doodles. If I'd had this concept I probably wouldn't have approached it anywhere near as creatively as you did. There's something about a giant dreidel attacking a city. Like it's a dreidel mech Tron made that somehow just went completely out of control. That'd explain the lack of intertia. This looks like a job for the blue guy! Blyka - Diorama brofist! I think yours turned out better than mine. Or at least less messy. Did you aim the flash for the moon? If not then that was a brilliant stroke of luck. Handlebar - I really like the color scheme. That warm fuzzy glow really makes the scene look all the more ridiculous. New OTP? I think so. Dragge - Like I said before, you've really improved. Seriously, just open all of your secret Santas in adjacent tabs. Especially if you used a mouse to do that last one. Especially especially if you used the same program you did in 2010. The Master looks like such a sleaze and the Servbot looks so dismayed and confused. I'm sure Bon has a few choice words to throw in, too. All of them consisting of something like "Babu." All in all, great job everyone! 100% completion doesn't happen every year!

Thanks Dashe,
I was going for a heartwarming, albeit slightly smarmy Hallmark card look. With a more colored pencil feel than most of my work.
And HF, thank you for turning my request into a comedy. XD I love it.

I can give it a shot. To be enjoyed with appropriate music. And if anyone's wondering how it ends, they eventually learn that the tree is too large for the foyer, and must return for another one. Won't lie, I totally phoned it in this year. My original idea was basically the same animation, but done using stop motion, with clay or paper models. This is what was left after cutting every corner imaginable. At the least, I wish I could have worked a few more frames in. Made it a bit smoother. Really should have given myself more time for this one. Hope you get some enjoyment out of it regardless, Chao. Interesting turnout this year, definitely some stuff I didn't see coming. Many thanks for your gift, Blyka. It's a very cute diorama, in a sort of solemn way. Fitting for the season, I think. The way you used the reflection of the light source on the background for the moon was definitely an inspired touch. Fab's work really caught my eye as well. Not just for being a nifty project, but for the presentation. It's a really nice photo. Looks like you have some depth of field going on and everything. My gosh. Sketchman's too. The reaverbot family photo was a nice little detail. Chao: WANNA SEE ME COMB MY HAIR REALLY FAST?Merry whatever-you-celebrate, everyone.
