Is there a PC version of the game? I can't afford to pay $100+ for a copy of legends 2

Good news: Yes! There is a PC version of Legends 2! Bad news: - It's Japanese only. It was never officially translated or released in the west. It was semi-localized to Taiwanese, though.
- It wasn't terribly popular in Japan, being a PC port of a niche series several years after the fact. Short manufacturing run.
- It doesn't play nice with the combination of 64-bit versions of Windows and basically any video card released in the last 5 years.
- Given its rarity (and possibly as a 'Holy Grail' item in the community for years) it's gonna set you back a wee bit more than $100 USD. Used. From an asian auction site. Not counting shipping. Overseas.
- This is assuming you can even find someone willing to sell it to you.
The PS1 version was the only version to get an English release, so there's no way around it: if you absolutely need it, your wallet is going to take a beating for it. Just be thankful you aren't looking for Misadventures of Tron Bonne. A complete set of it can fetch 3x that of MML2. EDIT: For what it's worth, the official DASH2PC advertisement page on Capcom's PC page still exists, and advertises the game for the low cost of 1,800Y (~$23USD), but the whole PC section hasn't been updated since 2008, and I don't think there's a working digital storefront for it anymore. Hell, I'm fairly sure Capcom has abandoned the PC platform as a whole, so it really doesn't surprise me.

I had Legends 1 up until recently when I stepped on it :24: And of course I only got to play/beat Legends 2 because I rented it from a store when I was like 9. If only there weren't legal issues preventing it from being put on PSN.

Emulation does work, its not the same, and I'd still rather buy them off of PSN, but what ever, at least I can satisfy that urge to play all 3 of them!

I don't know if its allowed to say this on these forums but.....emulator? Please don't kill me, I know not what I say! Mentioning emulators is fine. We just can't go into detail about how to go about getting them, where to get them, with links and all that. It's like talking about smokimg marijuana, as opposed to explaining how to grow/buy the marijuana and then pulling out a giant bag of it for the class. XD
Also, I find emulators have a lot of bugs, and they're never as good as the original material. Really disappointing that MML2 wasn't released on the PC elsewhere; even if you do manage to acquire the game, you'd still need to know Japanese to understand it. Would be easy if you'd played the game several times already, but otherwise it would get confusing. I'm sure someone could get a copy and make a fan-translated .iso of it, though. But that would be more illegalness.
