I did NOT offer my help to make a full map for you, remember that. That would be like doing the work for you. All I said that I was going to point out how you don't have a sense of space and seem to forget the Flutter is not a big ship. The rooms I did up there are basically copies of the ones shown on the Wikipedia page, using calculations on how big the rooms should be with Mega Man inside it. With the right graphics (which again, I did not offer my help with), my rooms up there could be near 100% copies of the ones shown in Legends 2. However, I'm not aiming to remake Legends 2, thus I'm not going to put serious work into this. I offered my help to point out the obvious problems every rookie does in RPG Maker: making maps too big. But ultimately, this IS your game and if you don't want the game to feel natural or stay somewhat true to the original, that's your choice. And with that, I'll leave this topic and come back when you have a game done. Where did I say you were going to make a full map? I am not lazy, I already have full Map of the Flutter and sulphur bottom. as you can see from the videos. They just need to be a bit adjusted. My intentions are not just a remake but an improvement.\ Also I see your point more and more about the size of the room btw..

Now that's more like it. A few things to not: - the doors are weird, and I think I would prefer having each room as a different map, instead of having an early look at them. - variety in the rooms: everything looks really bland. You'll probably do your own graphics later on, so that's not really a problem. - that ladder is completely useless. Make it a teleporter to a different map and have each layer of the Flutter a different map. - Gramps room shouldn't be bigger than the others. The Flutter is a flying ship, there's no customanization allowed in such a thing. Have all the rooms at the same size. - the halls after the ladder are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. Remember, the Flutter is a small ship. - Change the background, it makes no sense to see the sky like this from the flutter. It makes it look like the Flutter is flying in this weird horizontal way. But really, you are showing a lot of improvement. If you want, I can still help you with the maps (just send them over in a project file or something and I'll edit them). I do admit you inspired me, really thanks for that lol I will look into your reports. But I would say thought, that I like the background because the background makes it visually and environmentally better. As for Gramps Room its done, I did some adjustment that I made the number of blocks equal to the other rooms. As for the ladders its done I made it shorter.

One more thing: instead of recording videos, why don't you take pictures of the map? That would be easier to upload and we could observe it better. It would also be easier to point out problems and stuff. Just press prtsc on your keyboard, load it up in paint and save the picture. I know about Prtsc. And sure.

Sorry for bumping this topic so long after it was left here, but I noticed something. Siev said that it would be too hard to make an entirely new story and map, why? Wouldn't that be as simple as reusing the engine and making new maps for it?
I have never used RPG maker so my question would be, does RPG maker help you make an engine for the game and then build upon that or RPG maker IS the engine and it gives you enough freedom to make something within its boundaries? Or am I missing something here?
I am assuming that RPG Maker itself takes care of most of the programming heavy lifting, but is it innately impossible to do such a change? I mean it doesn't seem like a massive change, seems like all you gotta do is change what we see while keeping the stuff under the hood.
Pardon my ignorance.

Hi their, I guess I am 1 year late? I still have the project files thankfully! But I don't mind every one's help.
The Project is like Semi-Active. And I accept suggestions, sprites and developing Help. I don't know if any one cares any more thought..
life gets me really busy.
