Overview
Welcome to the latest installment of Rate that Reaver! This article covers the massive Gai-Nee Tooren!
Found in one of Kattelox's Sub-Cities, Gai-Nee Tooren is a massive, train-like reaverbot that patrols the area. This reaverbot has no direct attacks of its own, instead sending out a seemingly endless horde of Red Zakobon and Large Sharukurusu from its caboose to attack any would-be intruder. When these smaller reaverbots (at least in comparison to Gai-Nee Tooren) are destroyed, more are released.
However, Gai-Nee Tooren's only method of attack is also its sole weakness. While this gigantic reaverbot is normally immune to all outside attacks, it is vulnerable when opening the hatch to release more reaverbots. When the hatch takes enough damage, a section of Gai-Nee Tooren's body is destroyed. When all 3 sections of its body are destroyed, Gai-Nee Tooren finally bites the dust.
Dealing With It
Seeing as you can't attack it directly, the best method of defeating Gai-Nee Tooren is to follow it around and wait for it to open its hatch. Good projectile weapons like the Machine Buster, Active Buster, and the Powered Buster are all great for inflicting damage on the behemoth, as well as your trusty Buster. Staying aware of the other reaverbots being released is a good idea as well; Gai-Nee Tooren will not open the hatch to release more reaverbots if there are enough in the room, so you have to keep the enemy count down.
Coming In For A Landing
Gai-Nee Tooren was a pretty unique idea for a reaverbot. It's large and impenetrable from the outside, and its only attack is also its only weakness. Easily one of my favorites from the first Legends game, Gai-Nee Tooren rates a 9/10!

I never seem to enjoy dealing with this guy, despite how unique he is. I give him an 6/10 because I think he could've used a few attacks of his own, and not be quite so boring to fight after the first time. If he was demolishing his way through some of the buildings of Downtown while acting as a transport, that would've been more exciting and tolerable; despite his lack of attacks... But as for the reality, boring.

I was actually expecting something more when fighting this reaverbot. It couldn't be better. I like its design though.
I rate it a 7/10.

I actually like fighting gai-nee-tooren, or as I will refer to him from now on as GNT. While he himself is not a great threat he does poop out dangerous reavers. Now he and everyone else in the game is easy if you have a good weapon but if you're going buster only his endless poop battalion is quite formidable. I also just like the concept of big enemys spawning smallers ones, like the bonne things at city hall or amistal to a lesser extent. Let's not forget he's pretty dang scary at first. His ruin was the first of the three I went to so I thought he'd be in all of them. Probably dided there as well. Anyways he's fun and cool looking so I'll give him an 8
EDIT: Also very hard to draw.

Gai-nee-tooren was a pretty fun reaverbot to fight, but didn't really have any attacks of its own. Although it was pretty cool in its design, it wasn't much of a threat. His "poop battalion" on the other hand...well I think you get the point.
I think it deserves a 8/10.

8/10 for me. Original tactics compared to other reaverbots, but not exactly the coolest looking.

I loved fighting this guy. However, like most of the others here, I think that he could've used an attack or two of his own, like maybe smacking diggers with his arms when they're too close. Why did he even have arms? He didn't use them.

I... I... I don't remember this one!
It sounds like an awesome boss, but I can't remember ever fighting it. Maybe I need to play through Legends again...?

It was in the Uptown Sub-City and it had excellent music. It gets an 8/10 out of me. I docked the two points because once you kill it, you can never hear its music on that save file again.

Anti-Jump Springs Seriously? This thing was the best. After clearing out the other two Sub-Cities I thought the last would be the same, but then this thing came out and scared the crap out of me! This has got to be my favorite reaverbot for the concept alone. I think it provides a valuable lesson on how to tackle problems in the real world. 10/10 easily
