Hmm. I don't think that song has actually been ripped in any way or form, so I doubt there would be a name for it. I could be wrong, though.
It beginning of it kinda sounds like a more peaceful variation of either the Mother Zone or Residential Zone theme.

I believe this has been mentioned before.
@truner, it's actually not on the site, I double check just to be sure. It's possible that the music audio is separable from the Masters voice though. Perhaps Echiz would know since he's cracked MML2PC to a certain extent?

Did someone call for...my expertise?
*angelic choir sings and sunbeams from heaven*
Most cutscene music is embedded in the cutscene audio, and is thus not-cleanly-rippable.
*sky clouds over*
Now, I'm sure one could listen very carefully and produce a reasonable facsimile, but you just won't get the original music, since it's overlaid with speech. If I could find the audio clip, I could supply you with the Japanese version extracted from DASH2PC, but it'd still have voice over it and I'd need to know Japanese to even identify it. EDIT: Found it, XA02-892C72. Has voices though, of course.
Sorry, it's just the way it is; the pieces aren't available separately from the game itself.

That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

I could take a stab at reproducing it if that'd be okay. I think I could do a pretty good job.

oh ok then, I was right about that song not being on the OST. I'll try and rip it off with programs like audacity or virtualdub. If I manage to rip it I'll upload it here xD and if anyone else is interested in trying another software to eliminate the voice and get the music, I would be really grateful.

Most cutscene music is embedded in the cutscene audio, and is thus not-cleanly-rippable. [...] you just won't get the original music, since it's overlaid with speech Actually, it would be easier to rip the music out of the disc. That way we might have separate tracks (like how the voice might come from the right, while the music plays on the left or something) and that would make our job a lot easier. It would make our job easier if that were an option. There is a single stereo track that contains both speech and music, not 2 mono tracks. It is like trying to extract an instrumental version of a song from a commercially available Audio CD (or if you go with the youtube version, recorded off the radio). You could in theory do it but more times than not you get severe quality loss, and it's easier than this because most commercial songs have measures of the main riff without lyrics between verses and during the intro and ending. There aren't that many breaks in this case. A recreation is going to be the only realistic way you'll get that song. Of course, if someone DOES make a recreation, as a midi, there is a 'midi' section at the bottom of the 'Music' section on MMLS. It needs to be relatively faithful, though; no metal remixes.

Well, if recreation is the only way, I'm pretty sure Sketch would be able to produce it the way it was intended. He helped me out before, so I know. It won't be a midi. It'll be wav/mp3/ogg/whatever. I tend to avoid midi these days (because of limitations of my current software), unless somebody specifically requests it to be midi. Ironically, it will be using a midi soundfont bank Anyway, I'll see what I can do. However, I don't recall anybody actually stating that they wanted the song, lol. If nobody wants it, then... Edit: Hmmm... will be challenging with the Master gabbing all over the track... lol. EDIT 2: OH. MY. MY! WOW, I just realized that at one point this song uses an excerpt from my FAVORITE MML tune EVER, the Fusion CD Sample ( @ 4:55). LOL, that's awesome. That is so awesome. I'm going to have to listen closer to see if I can find anymore copy-pasta in this song. The part right before the part I just typed about sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.

@sketchman, The fusion part sounds really awesome! I compared the songs and that part is really similar. That makes this song so much more interesting! I hope you decide to try and reproduce it. Also I forgot how sexy fusion is.
