That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

I am, of course, referring to the final design that never made it past the one concept sketch, not the armor that he wears in the promotional pictures.
Anybody know of any?
I wonder if anyone's thought of modifying Megaman's original model to create a 3D model of the final design. I'm saddened that it never even got an official 3D model.

I don't think they ever put out the official version that everyone voted for, sorry.

I don't think they ever put out the official version that everyone voted for, sorry. He said "fanart". So, as far as "fanart" goes, the only notable one that I've seen get created of Volnutt in his final armor design is Guildmaster's Last Stand made by Dashe in an iScribble session. At the very least, it looks like the official armour. There might be others, but I don't remember off the top of my head. Can't help you with 3D models. I think Project Legends has a model in progress though.

That's cool. It's nice to see. It seems like the MML3 fanart ground to a standstill after the game was canceled, thus no arts of Megaman in his new duds. It's good to see one at least.
Funny, his new helmet was favorite part of the design.
I know it was never really finalized finalized, because it still required a bit of editing in preparation for 3D-ification, but it was final enough.

Yes, Mikey, we've been working as much as as we can on prototype assets like a 3D model of the final design. In fact, it's been completed and animation is in-progress, but it's in our Lead 3D Artist's hands right now, and things have been slow as usual at the forum.
To me, the design was official enough to work, and it's my favorite Volnutt design in the whole history of Legends art design. Glad to know some fans still care about the Legends 3 final design, as I think a lot of fans still cling to the old designs, lol.

Oh wow, it's General Specific. Fancy running into you here (although it does make sense). I'm looking forward to seeing the model =D
Hopefully some more Legends 3 armor art will pop up in the future.

I was quite looking forward to the new armor myself. There was more to the armor than before. For example; different shapes to the lower leg and lower arm sections, the ball joints, and the special weapon addition on the backpack. When the design was voted upon I thought for sure that this game would be in full swing.

Sure does—I was working with the guy on his fan game project until he disappeared, lol, but the guy had some great ideas and, really, some great talent.

OOOOOooh, that's awesome. Can't wait for the helmet. Hair is cool, too. It's funny, the first thing people complained about when first playing MML was probably the lack of a helmet. Then when they found the helmet, they said "hmmm... nevermind. I'll stick with the hair".
I still see Megaman as incomplete without a helmet. Hopefully they'll model that.

Without being biased, I can still easily say that I prefer PixelSprite's take on the 3D Model of Volnutt's MML3 Armor. Though, I have to admit that Satoh's model is far sharper and that I've always preferred smooth 3D Models over sharper one. Nevertheless, PixelSprite's model is still being polished in order to make the animation feel more natural to Legends fans.
