I may not have been around for a while but that doesn't mean I'm not here. I totally support this strategies sub-thing (can't hink of the name right now). Speaking of which when the nycc thing was announced on the 2nd page it made me think. Anyone can answer this if they know. But does Japan have any wide scale conventions like this where capcom would show up and we could get our foriegn brothers in arms to set up shop there?

Sounds good enough to me. Time to hit Capcom on their home turf!

It definitely doesn't require any sort of special skill to be able to pitch in, unless a pulse is considered a special skill these days. Even something simple like living in a densely-populated area could be considered a "skill" in that regard.

I think I may be misunderstanding something, but I want to know what pitch in means. I thought contributing to things like draw your servbot for the giant poster at NYCC, your 9/29 stories, spreading the word around town, things like that, were considered support. There are a ton of people who do those things as support but are not vocal about it. Some people are not good with coming up with ideas, and are better at following instructions, support from the sidelines, that kind of thing…the less vocal things. We clearly already have people who are more than happy to be in the spotlight and lead things, doing the more vocal things.
Again, I think I may have misunderstood what you were complaining about – I thought you meant lack of support in general, but now I think you meant lack of support being visibly shown on MMLS. Guess I should learn how to read haha. ;_; Still, just because we’re not showing it doesn’t mean we’re not supporting. On the flip side, if all it takes is a few posts to show we care/support, I don’t mind being “more vocal” about it.

It really doesn't take much effort to be more vocal about it. You have no idea how inspiring it is to actually see a longer-term MMLS member say something like, "Hey guys, I just posted a flier at my grocery store! The manager was awesome about it!" Especially for someone who's new. Staying quiet gives the impression that everyone's really given up hope and everyone who cares just high-tailed it for Facebook instead. If nothing's ever said, there's genuinely no way of knowing where everyone here stands on Legends 3, so it's easy to assume nobody's doing anything. Aaaaaanyway, three days have passed, and either reception's almost all positive or the dissenters are afraid of what I'd do to them, so I'm posting the new board and moving and stickying threads crucial to the revival there.

Oh. Has it already been three days? Hey Dashe, I just posted a flier in a bathroom stall! The next person to use it was freaked out about it! But seriously. If that's the kinda thing that people like to see, I'll have no problem doing it. If only to raise morale.

Yep, that kind of thing that can make all the difference. Pictures of places where you've posted them work too, as well as pictures of things you've put the free Legends 3 bumper sticker on...and I'm certainly not stopping you from tossing out new ideas for various printable items we could use to spread the word, either!

Huh. Forgot about the bumper stick deal. : :21:
Quick question though. Is shipping restricted to the States, or is it worldwide? I'm going to assume worldwide, since the International Strategies team posted the note.
(Edit: Nevermind. I asked around the IRC and got my answer.)
