Well, I had searched and didn't find anything that suggested that another thread had existed with this topic, so...
What was the last graphic novel that you had read? Was it good? Was it bad? Did it get you hooked to the series? Did it make you want to quit reading? Was the art good and the story bad; or was it vice versa? Tell us here.
When I mention graphic novels I also include comics, manga, manwha, 4koma, webcomics and anything related.

The Phoenix Wright Graphic Novels.
They are set after Trials and Tribulations, but before Apollo Justice. If you've played the Ace Attorney game then you'll know what to expect. If you haven't played them yet, go play them now!

Mega Man Gigamix Vol. 1: I found this volume to be highly enjoyable; and the Battle & Chase story was a lot of fun to read.

The Phoenix Wright Graphic Novels. They are set after Trials and Tribulations, but before Apollo Justice. If you've played the Ace Attorney game then you'll know what to expect. If you haven't played them yet, go play them now! I'm waiting for the rest to come out, I've read two so far and liked the cases. I didn't know they were placed during that timeframe, I just started reading without thinking about any of that.
Steffie, have you read the second volume of Gigamix, it gets even better!
I don't have the time or patience to sit down with a good novel, so I pretty much only read manga these days. They're really convenient for me to read on my commute to school and work, so I usually read 1-3 a day if I read instead of study during that time.
The last one I read was Tales of the Abyss: Asch the Bloody. I thought it was an interesting take on Asch's persceptcive during the first part of game, even though he was one of my least favourite characters. But reading this made me think for the first time what thoughts could have possibly went through his head throughought the story, and why he acted the way that he did. I wouldn't recommend this for people who haven't played Tales of the Abyss since there are huge spoilers in it. Also, I think people who haven't played the game just wouldn't understand what is going on. I really like the artstyle though, especially the way Ion was drawn. So cute!

Steffie, have you read the second volume of Gigamix, it gets even better! I have yet to read volume 2 as I'm waiting for volume 3 to come out before I order both of them. But, I had heard quite good things about volume 2

Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 25. I can't stress enough how upset I am with them not having all 27 volumes out before the 2nd anime finished in both Japan and America. I think FMA may be my favorite manga of all time!
I've also read two volumes of Dorohedoro. It's a manga, but the art style almost screams American graphic novel. It's set in a sort of post-apocalyptic world where there are beings called sorcerers that have preformed horrible deeds on regular people, these acts have either permanently disfigured them or turned them into monsters. However, two characters seem to fight the sorcerers that come into their town, no matter how dangerous the sorcerers are.

Superman: Birthright by Mark Waid(writing), Leinil F Yu, and Gerry Alanguilan(art)
Essentially, a retelling of Superman's origin, something I'm sure just about everyone knows. But it wasn't until I read this that I really appreciated it and recognized the scope and emotional impact of the whole thing. It is the first time any kind of book had me crying by page 12, Waid is an amazing writer. Read it about 2 months ago and have been on a Superman binge since, it's still my absolute favorite story out of them. It made me love Superman all over again.
Xombi: Reanimated by John Rozum(writing) and Fraser Irving(art)
A sequel of sorts to the original Xombi ongoing from Milestone Media(and very much on par with it) before it went under and merged with DC and dedicated to the memory of Dwayne Mcduffie, one of the company's founder and most prominent figure, who died this February at age 49.
Xombi is about a Korean-American scientist named David Kim who was accidentally fused with nanotechnology, becoming immortal, and is now thrust into the affairs of other, magically rather than technologically endowed, immortals. It's a pretty surrealistic read. This six issue run dealt with a foe usurping the Ninth Stronghold, one of several floating castles in the sky ruled by a pantheon of immortal humans. This particular one was crafted from the skull of Nephilim, a giant in the Old Testamant. One of my favorite parts, which gave me chills and had me decide I love this comic right there, was the description of the Rustling Husk:
Bone by Jeff Smith.
I've known about this for a long time and I'm kicking myself for taking so long to finally read it. I literally just finished it after this thread reminded me I hadn't. Bone is an epic fantasy adventure story with a scope and feel akin to Lord of the Rings. The catch is that it's main character's, the Bone cousins, character designs and personalities are more akin to comic book characters from things like Scrooge McDuck or Calvin & Hobbes and the pacing and humor of the story is in line with this fairly often. It stands equally on it's merit's of both lighthearted adventure and comedy, as well as dramatic and engrossing fantasy epic and blends the two aspects expertly. It is an amazing read and deserving of all the praise it gets and the awards it's won.
I've read quite a lot of Graphic Novels recently, actually.

Mega Man ZX Vol. 1 & 2: They're fairly faithful to the game, yet there were a few differences; like not including Aile, yet created a friend for Vent. Considering what had happened to Vent's friend in Vol. 2, I think it is for the best.
Overall, I enjoyed both volumes.

Soul Eater volumes 1 - 6. I think this series has a lot going for it, but the random fanservice that pops up at times really bothers me. Sometimes I overlook fanservice, but personally it's too glaring/random at times for me to accept for this series. Otherwise Soul Eater is pretty awesome, the characters all have quirks to them that set them apart. Death the Kid and his obsession with symmetry....those are always the best moments.

Tiny Titans: Now, this series is a lot of fun and enjoyable to read. The art-style may be simple and what-not, but it gives the comics some added charm.
