How is that you might ask? Well, let's first start with the baseball card (yes I know, OT but bear with me). My wife who is from Boston and is a big time Red Sox fan was at Fenway Park at the very game Carl Yastrzemski (her favorite player) got his 3000th hit (which is an unofficial "automatic Hall of Fame" milestone). That event just so happened to be commemorated on card #1 of the 1980 Topps set--1980 being by birth year! For those who are confused, yes my wife is a few years older than me (we have a May-December thing going on). So what does this have to do with MOTB? Well, it just so happens my wife's name is Denise, just like Denise Marmalade (the rookie cop you face in the bank missions), and the Servbot you use to let Miss Tron take a rest and go to the Casino happens to be #17. We were married on the 17th of June (2005)! And not only that, the first time we met in person (in St. Louis) I got to go to a casino for the first time in my life! Pretty interesting coincidences, no?

Well that's apophenia for you. If only there were a way to link the baseball card to MoTB, then you'd really blow some minds.
Wait...MoTB came out in 2000 and was between MML1 and MML2. That's 1.5. 2000 x 1.5 = 3000. The card was for a 3000'th hit. OH MY GOD!

Not to mention the game came out 20 years after I was born! And we got married five years after!
PS: For those who are wondering the only game I play at a casino is Deuces Wild video poker; I would play Spanish 21 or Blackjack but all the casinos I've been in require $5/hand minimum.
