Thanks for the feedback everyone! Sorry to say though, we have no intention of ever doing another version; the only thing that inspired me to do this one was the thinking about what a solid game V1 was and deciding it could use an upgrade with my since acquired three years of experience, which I think it definitely got. Still though, I’d like to address some of the suggested changes. Just what is “true” 640x480 support, if I may ask? The midi and sfx volume should always be at the intended level with each other (GM 7.0 seems to treat midis like waves where volume is concerned, but if they aren’t like that for you the SW Synth found in your volume controls can be adjusted for midis), so if you mean the game itself is too loud, my apologies; you could of course turn down the PC volume when you play. If you do indeed mean the midis are horribly loud, even over sound effects and can't be turned down via SW Synth I'm clueless as to why that is. ; In any case... sorry, no in-game volume control. !? Um… have you guys looked at the scoreboard for Normal Mode? There’s currently 22 scores on the chart, and it can track the top 100 (or more if fab and I desire). No worries there. As for a local scoreboard we considered that, but fab and I agreed that wasn’t really necessary with the online one. We also figured that since it tells you what your score is, if you really want a local chart you could write them down. If YoYo Games ever gets around to a version of Game Maker that allows such (and that can take a GM7.0 file and spit out an updated game with no conversion necessary), I may just do that someday. Thank you! Too bad about your score, keep at it though; this game is truly a case of practice makes perfect. On the point of music quality, I originally intended to use PSF files for V2, but I couldn’t find any for Legends 2 and the Tron Bonne ones I found were all sped up for some reason… and MP3s would have made the file size insanely large, so yeah, couldn’t do much about that. XP Come come Chiz, I know you can do better than that. Or maybe the Mlt Syndrome can? Mad button mashing skills are important in Hard Mode after all. I look forward to it! ;D

Just what is “true” 640x480 support, if I may ask? You know, a window that's at 640x480 with sprites that were clearly meant for a 640x480 screen...as it is, it's a 320x240 that's can be stretched to 640x480...it's not 'true' 640x480 just like a DVD that's been upscaled to a HDTV isn't 'true' HD. How about a compromise - an in-game mute button. Suppose I want to listen to my MP3s or internet radio while playing...without downloading special software that will explicitly mute sound from a program, I can't play and listen to music at the same time. Also, SW Synth on my system is muted... *sigh* I'll take that as a no... As for a local scoreboard we considered that, but fab and I agreed that wasn’t really necessary with the online one. We also figured that since it tells you what your score is, if you really want a local chart you could write them down. It wouldn't be necessary if 1) The online chart worked all the time 2) It could be guaranteed that players have constant internet access If YoYo Games ever gets around to a version of Game Maker that allows such (and that can take a GM7.0 file and spit out an updated game with no conversion necessary), I may just do that someday. Right, that's never going to happen MP3s would have made the file size insanely large, so yeah, couldn’t do much about that. XP It's too bad you couldn't use lower bitrate OGG files; Even 2ch 48-64kbps OGG sounds great, and has a relatively small filesize. Come come Chiz, I know you can do better than that. Bah... Or maybe the Mlt Syndrome can? Mad button mashing skills are important in Hard Mode after all. I look forward to it! ;D BAH!
