So I lost my copy of MML2 in November, or at least I realized I had lost it, and I've just been searching through boxes and stuff and I've come to the conclusion that I will never find it. It's definitely not in either of my houses. So I bought A copy of MML2 last night on ebay for $70 bucks, that's the cheapest I could find it in good condition and with the manual. The seller was top rated and and took his pictures on top of his bed, which has a World of Warcraft comforter on it, so I know he is dork like me, so I trust him. I'd much rather buy it from someone who has had it since it came out, and not some faceless Ebay store person. Anyways, it should be coming next week! I've been aching for it for a while now, there just isn't any good Let's Plays of it . I should have bought it in November, there was a good copy for $50.

That's painful. Prices for this game are going up. Too much demand and not enough copies. I know where to get a brand new one for 175$

What you guys are paying for, is cheap... in comparison to what I had been trying to hunt down for months.
Namely, Phoenix volume 1, "Dawn". I've seen mint copies go up for 600 dollars, and that volume is not nearly as old as Legends 2.

The prices for these games just keep rising, huh? And while you paid a lot to get a copy again, $70 is better than the insane price this seller is charging. I really hope no one buys this...

That's outrageous! The worst part is he added $9.07 to $1270. At that point who cares about $9.07? The best part? This seller has a 92% positive feedback record .

Crazy, right? I chuckled to myself when I saw that listing, but then I was terrified at the thought that either the seller really believes the game will sell for that price, or there are actually people out there with that much spare cash to spend on a single game! Of course there are many other possibilities, but those were the first two thoughts that popped into my head!
And yeah, pretty random that it isn't an even number, I wonder what made them decide to add the $9.07?

That's the funniest thing I've ever seen before in my life. *boots up emulator*It all depends where you go searching. Clueless people could have it in their attic or basement and not even know the true potential for what they have, and wind up trying to sell it for around 10 dollars. It gets pretty crazy. edit: Oh yeah hey Loken, there aren't any good complete Let's plays of it, but there is one in progress. His name is Darkkefka, and I find him to be one of the best LPers there is. It's his idea of a celebratory type thing for the Legends 3 project, and so far he's done complete LP's of MML1 and MoTB, with the help of SIMSteven. MLU thread found here.

I'd love to get this game, if I had the money. Speaking of emulators, the best thing about them is that I can take my Chrono Cross disks and shove them in my computer and play.
(Insert 'deal with it' gif here)
Also, I've got an old copy of Final Fantasy VII for the PS1, that I've been considering selling for quite some time. I heard that even Greatest Hits covers go for a good amount.

Mikéy, I always forget to watch the MoTB Let's Play! I'll watch that tonight! Also I'll try out the MML2 one aswell, there was a MML2 let's play I was watching along time ago, but he stopped halfway through . Anyway I can't wait to get my new copy of MML2! Edit:Oh yeah! and that will help with Chiz's project! I need to download that stuff.

www.youtube.com/user/batman9502 This guy's done an LP of MML2. I used it not too long ago to find the Manda Ruins again. Seriously, why didn't I think to look next to the school?

I feel ya, I bought 3 copies of this game (4 if you count the PSP port).
I bought my original copy used at gamesptop back in the day and lost it. So then I bought a used copy from ebay, but it was so badly scratched that the game would crash right at the stinking end of the Nino island ruins. Months later I finally found my good copy of MML2. Then I lost it again to be left with the bad copy (actually if my memory serves me right I think I threw out the "bad" copy but in actuality threw out the good one). Vowing to never again get a crappy scratched up copy I bought a brand new sealed copy of the game from ebay (I think it was $30-40 at the time).
Now to further expand this epic I recently replayed my MML collection only to find that my PS2 gives me a disc read error when I put in my good copy of MML2 (which has been well taken care of). Fortunately I can boot the game from my bad copy and swap the discs to play off my good copy with no errors, but still it's like the universe has conspired against me so that I can't play this game.
But in any case I'm glad you are getting another copy of MML2, no collection would be complete without it.

Over $1,000, that guy is out of his mind. Right now I'm just looking for one in a good working condition. It's killing me looking for a cheap one

I bought MML more than once, and I know every time which one is newer (if you know what I mean). But the new one broke down from overuse, so old copy lasted longer. Even at the time MML2 was available here, I never really did find the game in stores. Congratz to your purchase and wow at the price amazon.ca is charging for the game.

Some people are greedy, that's life.
But that was a good get Loken, great job!
but man 1k for MML? well, if it were confirmable sealed and the earlier production version...maybe 500, but 1k is outrageous for a PS game, PS1/2 OR 3

Amazingly it came in today! It came in 3 days and the shipping was free! Crazy! I'm going to finish my run through of MML1 before I crack into it though.
