To be frank, how would 3D models change anything besides being all 3D graphics? Aero's 3D model was modeled exactly after her finalized design.

Aye Chan, I had my eyes on design C because it stood out, but once problems began getting pointed out, my attention was shifted. I wouldn't mind a whole lot if design C made it in (He's still Volnutt, right?), but it would certainly take a bit of getting used to.

@jerk Boy Aero is a prime example of why these designs may likely be unfinished. Her design underwent massive changes between the Heroine Poll and the 3D model. Take a look at the original design if you don't believe me. :17: EDIT: How rude of me. Here's a link for you. And here's a better link. I'm working on tracking down the best link.... EDIT-EDIT: And here's the best link. VolnuttChan Vote for whichever design you like, and don't worry about what the people are saying here or at the Devroom. It's your vote.

I know that there may be changes.
I just don't see them ever giving him a crotch plate if Design C makes it though. If not for that thing, then maybe it might have been better.

(Feel free to smite me, now.) *smites*The ambiguity is what I liked about it, personally. Not bullying you into changing your vote, this is just me disagreeing and explaining why. I don't see why he has to look more human. Just so it's more obvious? That's a poor reason for such a drastic change, in my opinion.

I like the concept behind C, make Megaman more human, er carbon, like and there are elements in it that I do rather like. The shoulder pads are nice and take away some of that human head on a robot body, and I like the less armor on the inner thighs, again giving him a "lighter" feel. Overall I don't care for it though, and I especially dislike that butt plate. I also think the lower body armor is needed, it just seems like something is missing.
Ideally I think I would have preferred something between B and C, and while the traditionalist in my also likes A I think it is about time that Volnutt gets an update. Plus I think that he looks tougher and slicker in the new designs. So I think that I'm going with B.

In my opinion, I also don't see why Design C makes him look 'more human'. I can only assume by the hands and the... crotch.

Woah, another Devroom event! And a fun one, I might add. ;D Giving the three options a casual glance, my instinct was to vote A...but then I realized that it probably deserved more thought than that so I gave it its due full-read through and considered the options more. After thinking more about the designs themselves, and perhaps as importantly the impact the people who already voted would have on the poll...well, it seemed most people would vote for one of the new designs. And as much as I like Mega Man's classic design, it would pretty much be a waste of a vote. :12: So that aside, it was for either of the other two designs, and for that, I honestly like B best. It just feels like a natural evolution of his design from the previous games, as opposed to the ZX/'Star Force'-inspired design that, while interesting to look at, is just too much of a deviation, regardless of 'modern appeal' (which IMO was never really the focus of Legend's designs, which tended to be either retro 70's anime or game limitation mainly). Additionally, the layered/indentations thing provides visual interest that will work well on a three-dimensional model, and what they refer to as 'bulkier legging' makes Volnutt's legs look more like the legs from classic series Mega Man. So I guess my vote goes for B. :22: (The downside of these new designs is that it's now even harder to recreate Trigger's armor design in Lego form without resorting to specialized, expensive printing processes... )

I think it'd be nice if they let you pick between B and C from the start the way you got to pick Max's outfit in Dark Cloud 2, and then maybe have A as an unlockable for nostalgia purposes. Being able to actually customize his outfit would be awesome.

I could not agree more with this. I'm hoping people realize Legends is one of those less-is-more types of things in regards to the character designs. Sleak or modern are not words I like to think of when it comes to anything Legends. This isn't Toru Nakayama.

Funny enough, this event is not named as the official Event 7. I think it's just a side event.
Regardless, I picked B, but I really think some kind of combo of B and C would have been best. I personally don't like the sphere joints on Volnutt. It makes his armor too bulky and it's hard for me to believe that a human-like body is inside.
The C hands and waist size are better than B's. That being said, the lower torso part that was removed from C was a mistake and that's where B gets points. Also, I get what they were trying to do with C's shoulder pads, but I think they're not exactly what I had in mind.
If I really have to choose between the two, then B would win. However, I still believe that both design merged would be better.

So there, that's the somewhat best I can come up with for liking C so much. :01: (Don't hate on my complicated thought process, please!) Also, while C is more detailed, it would be easier for a cosplayer to do should they choose to do that version. Not that I'm already doing the armor for Volnutt at this point.... I guess I'll go ahead and pick C so I can get back to doing my homework I've fallen back on. :24: (Someone's being a lazy jerk~~~!)

I voted for C before I noticed the flaws that make me twitch, without those flaws I'd pick C just because it's kinda new but I'd be happy with B as well so no worries here.

Didn't think there was going to be an adverse reaction to option C. I picked C because his waist didn't bother me as much and he looked more human ;D
Also, fanservice :13:

I hope you mean 'Hey look, they are finally showing off Trigger!" and not 'Look it's Trigger's crotch' lol. I certainly hope that the butt plate is revised because it is just not right, I don't even think it covers his whole butt. I really do like C's shoulder pads, but besides that and no crotch protector, there is that much of a change even. Do you guys think we will have a poll with every character? Come on, that would be pretty sweet, even if our favorites don't when, that would say alot about this project if there was a poll for every character.
