Hmm, sounds like the new Kinako post is a response to user comments about the armor selection (And the lack of lower body armor on C??). The google translation is exceptionally crappy this time, so I guess we'll have to wait for an official translation this time to see what it really says.
Based on the user's question from,
From Ishihara's art director
I had talked about the design configuration of the lock.
<DASH for the inhabitants of the world body. >
Their bodies are basically made of organic "body" is a,
Also a structure that can be transplanted or replaced with parts or mechanical.
Not everyone parts to retrofit Even though,
To strengthen the armed men of combat search and 役回Ri remains primarily involved.
The various body parts or only Dattari and arms.
You may also like to transplant a major injury.
If the lock body to retrofit the nearly full-fledged search for the ruins.
It is not part of a plan to drill down and talked about much in the game
(Like now), so the information would be helpful in considering the design of the lock
I'll append to the page for those who vote lightly.
Mumu, just have to play the game normally,
I might not notice unexpected.
DASH2 the opening of the lock was showing off his apron,
So I do not always blue body.
Edit: The english translation is up, not quite what I was expecting given the google translate.
We got a question from one of the Devroomers we'd like to address, and to help, we've consulted Art Director Ishihara-san. Here's what he has to say about the Mega Man Suit Design.
Regarding the inhabitants of the Mega Man Legends world
The people of this world are fundamentally organic beings made of flesh, but are able to replace their regular body parts with "mecha" (mechanical) implants. That's not to say that everybody goes around getting their bodies mech'd up. This is mostly reserved for the attachment of weapons or bodily upgrades to aid those involved in ruin exploration or combat. These enhancements can range from simple arm replacements to full-body overhauls. There are also cases where implants are used to repair grievous injuries.
In Mega Man's case, his body has been almost entirely exchanged for the sake of carrying out full-scale digs in the ruins. We aren't planning to delve into this discussion too in-depth in the story (as of now, anyway), but I do feel it might give you a significant context for the sake of this Suit Design vote, so I'll also add these notes to the vote post.
Interestinggggg. You might not even notice that stuff playing through the games. But if you check out the opening for Legends 2, you'll see Mega Man dressed in a regular old apron, revealing that he's not always committed to that blue armor suit.
You know, this sounds fairly similar to what Jerk said a few posts back, so props to her.
Like, maybe they don't just wear armors, but the armors physically become part of their own body. I guess that would explain the inconsistencies Trigger has when switching from his armor, to him wearing an orange apron for instance. As such, maybe they don't
have to look human-like.
