Is there a policy against doing multiple requests including the one assigned to you (i.e. you complete the request you were given, but complete another one 'just because')? Hey, I know! Next event will be an annual New Year's mod gauntlet! I take off for a month and leave the board entirely to the Guardians. Sure, I'll post, but I'll just leave the write-ups for the rest of you to pick up. It'll be like a big scavenger hunt! Whichever mod catches the lowest number of infractions at the end of the month is immediately demodded banned, and if there's a tie for last place, then the event becomes a bit shorter. We repeat until there is one mod remaining, and the last mod standing gets one cookie and my autograph shipped to their doorstep. After that we recruit more mods and do the same thing at the start of every year. Doesn't that just sound like oodles and oodles of fuuuuuuun? I imagined all this being spoken out in Tron's voice. Does this make me a bad person?

I would first wait until after to see if that person got their request from the person assigned to them or not. Going ahead and gifting someone else's recipient is kind of a dick move to the other Santa, who may feel like you're trying to show them up. I know more than one of these subjects looks especially inspiring, but please respect the system and keep the gifts 1-to-1 until it's obvious someone's getting left out. Incidentally, if you're itching to do extra, just pick one of the people who got stiffed on previous years.

I wanna try entering this year, I'm not an artist though so I hope no one will be disappointed if their picture isn't very good.

I have a pretty good idea what medium I'll be trying out if the wish I end up with allows for it. If not, I think I'll just end up doing a regular cel shaded whatsit for the sake of time. My request is "dark Megaman antics". Use your imagination with that one.

That's absolutely fine. We're certainly not about to tell anyone that they CAN'T give away more art or anything. Just tell us what you're doing so we know what's going on, and get the finished piece to us by the deadline. We'll be glad to give it the same treatment as the rest. Though Rai makes an interesting point with the giving a gift to someone else's recipient thing. To that, I'll just say that I hope everyone keeps the spirit of this event in mind. There's a reason this event was never billed as a competition; no one's competing with each other. There's no special prize for best in show. As far as the art goes, it's more about challenging yourself than challenging anyone else. If you're trying to show anyone else up, you've missed the point. That said, I hope no one will mind if someone else does decide to do the request you've been assigned just for fun. If you are absolutely opposed to this for whatever reason, contact us and we'll see if we can't work something out. (As a side note, the special badge only applies if you do an extra piece for someone from that list of people who never got anything in one of the previous years. Just so there's no confusion there.) Alright. Here's my request. Prelude to adventure.EDIT: Wow. This means we've got 16 people signed up now. I'm pretty damn sure that's some kind of record. EDIT 2: ALMOST a record. Turnout is tied with last year right now. Either way, you guys are awesome. Just saying.

This is one of the great things of the "around five words only per request" policy, isn't it? So instead of ending up with tasteless "my art is better than yours because etc" drama, the generic criteria would allow for multiple interpretations and not only avoids conflict, but may even be more laughs. It's almost perfect for a Christmas event.

Ehh fine, but it still feels like a faux pas to me. Pairings are randomly assigned but we can just pick whoever we want anyway, it feels like cheating. Whatever, if nobody else has a problem with it, there are no less than five of those subjects I wanted to tackle myself, and I may as well get started on them now.

Forgot to sign up in my last post, heh. I don't have 5~ specific words for my request, practically anything'll do. If you really must have some sort of suggestion, then anything with Tron is awesome, or maybe this girl from the heroine contest who totally should've won.Alright. Here's my request. Prelude to adventure.:24: This could've totally been an awesome song or remix. The Legends series doesn't get enough fan music.

The way I see it: You complete what you are paired with, and you are free to do extra. It's that simple, no? Is there a reason to hold back fanart opportunities, especially for a niche but deeply loved series? But that's enough; what matters is that the issue is agreed on, right? As for intentions for doing extra work not initially assigned to you, should it be mentioned on this thread, or done privately between the individual and Milkman?

Don't worry Miss Dashe, I'll ruin it for you with my art. I told my friends about this, and that I entered, all they did was laugh at me. I'm pretty bad but I like to draw, so I got this covered.

Though my schedule is pretty tight in the coming week I'd like to enter again. It's a neat event that I enjoyed taking part in last year, and this year there's a new medium I've been wanting to try out for a long time now, so this seems like the perfect time to do so. My request: Christmas Lights in Kattelox (nothing mature)

How could you make christmas lights mature?

How could you make christmas lights mature? Idea 1: The strong christmas lighting shines through the window of the landed Flutter while Rock and Roll are being intimate with each other. Idea 2: The line of christmas lights are used as a trap set by Tron to get Rock bound and gagged as a present of her own. Simply put: It's a kinky implement used when Rock finds himself tied down in the Gesselschaft torture room. He is then taken good care of by Mistress Tron with a whip. The Internet makes anything possible!
