MegaTuga Specifically asking for sprite work is the main issue. Your prompt itself was not very specific as to what the characters ought to be doing or anything, so that was A-OK. But requesting sprites or pixel art specifically is pretty big a limitation for whomever you get as Secret Santa. In fact, if any of our resident spriters (like me) were to be your Secret Santa, they wouldn't be able to fulfill the “unfamiliar medium” requirement. At least, not really. I guess there's always different programs to experiment with, or styles to try, or bittages. But that still kind of defeats the purpose. (Kind of) Oh and by the way, on that note, don't assume that 16-bit sprites would automatically mean MegaMan 7 style. That's more of an artistic style thing, not a limitation of 16bits; meant to mention that before. (Look at MegaMan and Bass; originally for the same system as MegaMan 7 — granted, it was only released in Japan there.)

Excuse me for derailing a bit: From what I know, this is a common misconception with Bit-ratings of sprites. If I am wrong about the following, please correct me.
The "Bits" of a sprite is not determined by the color limitations (i.e. the maximum number of simultaneous colors on-screen), but was nicknamed so by the original console which the sprite appeared in.
Otherwise, we would end up with this: 8-Bit = 256 colors 16-Bit = 65,536 colors 32-Bit = 4,294,967,296 colors Etc...
Examples: As we know, the FC/NES was only capable of rendering 16 simultaneous colors, thus explaining why the blue on both Megaman and his 1-Ups changes colors during weapon swaps or when he is charging his buster.
Likewise, the NDS is only capable of real-time rendering 256 colors at the same time, but it is clearly not an 8-Bit system.

I think I stepped in rough terrain here... I admit at first I did not followed everything but I didn't thought that I was making something bad by specifically asking sprites... well I will (again) delete that post and think of something else.

@tuga Just as long as the request is under five words and doesn't dictate a specific medium, you should be fine. Your best bet's to pick a character or scene relevant to Legends. Loken: Your description is much, much too long. Five words or less!

Thrid time is the one?
"Rejected Lilys chase Megaman"
No specefic style.. under the 5 words... I think this time I did it. The other option was "Sephira gets caught by Megaman" but I bet its alredy done XD

Alright, let's do this! I totally dodged out last year and am still kickin' myself, and the first competition I was exactly a month late, but this year'll be different! I'm pumped! Here's my request: "A Clash Between Two Mothers" Hah, maybe Pitch'll get it.

I completely forgot that I hadn't received anything. Nifty! I'm getting killed by exams right now, so I may end up last-minuting my gift, but I'm definitely in on this. Especially since my drawing skill has improved a lot since last year. My Request: "Tuttle: Ace Attorney"

Sorry Tau, the instructions say no crossovers. ...MLT did change that in the OP, I hope.

My gosh Dashe. You are kicking my butt in managing this thing this year. You even updated the second post. Thanks for picking up my slack for the umpteenth time. Pitch pitched in too, I see.And yeah, I did update the first post with the fan character/crossovers thing. So, I was going to say some stuff, but it looks like it's all already been said. So I'll just say again, nice to see more people jumping in. I'll be participating as well, of course. Just need to come up with a decent request...

I wasn't really looking for a crossover. I just thought Tuttle in a courtroom would be funny.
"Tuttle: Loquacious Lawyer"
Would that be permissible? :17:
EDIT: Nevermind. I'll just go with "Secret of the Curator's Hat"

God, I need to stop kicking butt. Hey, I know! Next event will be an annual New Year's mod gauntlet! I take off for a month and leave the board entirely to the Guardians. Sure, I'll post, but I'll just leave the write-ups for the rest of you to pick up. It'll be like a big scavenger hunt! Whichever mod catches the lowest number of infractions at the end of the month is immediately demodded banned, and if there's a tie for last place, then the event becomes a bit shorter. We repeat until there is one mod remaining, and the last mod standing gets one cookie and my autograph shipped to their doorstep. After that we recruit more mods and do the same thing at the start of every year. Doesn't that just sound like oodles and oodles of fuuuuuuun? Jokes aside, Tau, you're golden.

I don´t know about this- unfamiliar mediums are a tricky business, but then adventure is the mother of industry. I'll give it a shot, this year. There are three mediums I dabbled in, but not since my drawing class a long time ago..
My request being: Trigger vs Tiesel: Pie Fight
So, do we PM whoever we want to do our gift, or are they assigned at random?

The requests are selected at random. Mlt will probably be sending out posts within the next week or so.
