I- yeah.
Anima convinced me to join with a little "positive reinforcement". Good to see this place so full of energy.
and now, a bio that is OBVIOUSLY not copy and pasted.
I didn't always know what Megaman was. I first came to know about him when my parents purchased a Sony Playstation way back in its hayday (far back before I could formally read). A few of the titles I remember included Twisted Metal 2, Action man, Megaman Legends, Crash Bandicoot Warped, Command and Conquer, and some other game that I never got around to play much myself (as my brother was terrible about hogging this one particular game); but the main character was called "Snake" and the game was highly stealth oriented. (you can tell me the name of the game if those two points ring a bell.)
Legends was actually the first game to catch my attention. I sure couldn't read any of the explanations, but listening to Roll and the dialogue made my play experience somewhat bearable. It wasnt until the 3rd or 4th time that I played it that I figured out how to ROTATE Megaman, to where he could open the first door I was supposed to go through. I was literally strafing for a day or two... and I died twice on the Ceiling bot and was scared of them for the rest of the time I played. I died again, once or twice on the 1-armed reaverbot as well. I don't remember any details on strafing, but it takes quite a bit of practice for a 6 year old eh?
I saw the first cutscene of flying away from the Reaverbot, and that hooked me to the rest of the game. Eventually, I made it through the rest of the story and unlocked Hard Mode. One day, all of the Sony games are just gone. GONE. All of my favorite titles just dissapeared, leaving me with just Twisted Metal 4, and Tomb Raider, the Last Revelation, the only two Sony Playstation games that I still own today from back then. A few other worthless titles I did get from garage sales, but I never did get to see Legends 2. My only assumption at the time was that either my mom, or my older brother decided to sell them.
As I went through elementary and middle, the memories were dormant, and as I entered High School, that's when I discovered Emulation. (2007-now) All of the memories rushed back, and very recently, I decided to type in "Megaman Legends" on youtube just to humor myself. Darkkefka's ("SuperSayien" here in the site) Hard Mode MML part 1 showed up, and it was one of the longest video's I've ever seen. I watched a few brief parts of it, then I saw the link to superdanny in his description.
Somehow, the cover of MML2 still looks a tiny bit familiar to me... Like I saw it briefly those many years ago. But, I emulated and beat TMOTB and MML2 just to have the experience at hand. I'm still in my senior year in high school, so I don't have a lot of time to analyze and research MML as much as I would please, but it's nice to see that everybody's sharing what they find. I truly hope that MML3 is something everyone's going to love. As I've probably stated in a previous post somewhere, my latest console is the PS2, and all of the buzz of MML3 is suggesting that it'll be on a much later console (which is apparently not even released yet). Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to watching a walkthrough of it, once it comes out and everybody has a chance to do so.

the rest of this is... "not" copy and pasted. I mean it. D:
Clearly, I joined superdanny first. I was having an awesome time with it, and I knew that MMLS had forums, but I wasn't exactly "ready" to join yet. So a solid month and a half goes by since I joined SD, then me and Anima (an old SD member and new member here) began actively RPing, and today she then wondered about me joining MMLS. What happened was obvious, eh?
Now a wrap up.
Obviously indicated by my age, I'm at a critical stage in life, and I'll do my best to alert when the "inactivity spike" arrives. So far, I know that based on plans, I have half a year left. I'll be sure to leave the "nervous breakdowns" on the blog. lol
I've read the rules, know my rights. I guess I'm ready.
