(Always test before you release your code! >.<) They clearly didn't. Logging-in returns an error unless I use the Flash applet at the top, and the 'servbot on the left side' doesn't even appear unless I disable all my adblocking and enable 3rd party cookies...and after all that, it still won't display any sort of option to do anything. Tried in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome - all busted. So... Servbot #NULL here! Makes me wonder; if Capcom has problems with their website and a few Javascripts, what does that say about the quality of their code elsewhere? :15:

Man, Chiz don't even get me started on how stupid broken Capcom Unity is. That retarded flash login applet is among the main things keeping me away from the site in the first place! (WHY is that even necessary, Capcom Unity?) It even bogs things down after I'm already logged in. @darfox I would love to see you do a concept as a Little Big Planet level. Do you mean to make up your own design or were you thinking of kicking it in for our group collaboration effort here at MMLS? (On a related note, you've given me an idea I should've had a long time ago... :22:)

I never had those issues, but that they are there is something that has yet to be resolved, even after 2 years of Unity tech being implemented. The flash applet login is indeed an issue for many, even if I can't relate. Don't get us started on difficulties getting the Become a Servbot! function to appear--they have a whole thread for that, as it is!

Well I'm pretty much open to anything. I think I'll fiddle around with the Water tool(which I've used very little) and I'll see if I can create some neat scripted sequence, as described by the contest(roof falling, water raising, etc.) and from there I'll see if I can design a neat Mech. Maybe something can be worked out to do a full collabo but I'm definitely not making any promises.(I might not even make my own design so I shouldn't pretend like I'd do yaws) It won't even be a level, it'll be more like a gallery.
Either way I feel like I need to buck up and just start posting over there. It's proving very hard for some reason. Maybe it's the general website like you guys were talking about.

Sorry, have you seen our collab yet? It sounds like you may have missed it. mmls.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talkmml3&action=display&thread=3868&page=4Feel free to contribute to it. Edit: Finally got my Servbot number, 267. Nice and innocuous. No one would ever suspect #267...

Man, Chiz don't even get me started on how stupid broken Capcom Unity is. But it's fun! Alright, no Servbot. Forum says to... *disable adblock, enable third-party cookies* and just for good measure, restart the browser to make sure the settings take. Back to the devroom...yes, the servbot is now appearing! Perfect. *click Login* *fill in details* ...alright, then. *disable flashblock; use flash banner to login* Alright, we are officially logged in. Now to just... *rummage around code; find enroll script and URL* :37: MML3 is doomed if this is the code quality they're pumping out. Not too too bitter, though; Unity is one less thing I need to worry about participating in.

It's Unity tech, and it's really not the best and most well-programmed website template out there. You can see what I mean, of course.

I got that "Unknown Error has occurred" window too. I tried closing everything and emptying my cache one more time, logging on to Unity as soon as I got on (before entering the DevRoom), and then when I entered the DevRoom, the "Become a Servbot" button was finally there and it worked.
I dunno Chiz, I guess just keep trying until it works? They're bound to work out all the bugs eventually. Bear in mind this is the web designers' fault, not the game designers'.

It appears that there was a mistranslation and that the new spotter's name is actually Sephira. Still a Legends-y name, but I do wonder.... :06: Also, my Servbot number is 359. I kind of wish that I'd gotten a lower number, but I came late anyway, so it's satisfying nonetheless.

Mistranslation? Ohhh, I don't think so. Sounds like the dreaded Name Change Fairy is rearing her ugly head already. The Japanese site still definitely names her as Aero (EARo in katakana). Maybe there was a sudden trademark infringement issue on the NA side that prompted them to change it.

Sephira? I liked Aero better. Sephira just reminds me of Sephiroth, and we all know what a show-stealer Sephiroth can be.
I guess I'm lucky, I didn't have any problems getting my number.

Funny thing about it is, the last discussion bit in the post (between Eguchi, Nakashima, and Ishihara) still lists her name as Aero, and the reason as ' it fits her light, airy design'. :17: Suspect, maybe, but 'Sephira' really isn't a bad name (even if I prefer 'Aero' better personally). (Also, guess I shouldn't be surprised about all the recent name-changing business; I forgot that it runs in the franchise. XD )

So if they had to change it, at least they didn't go too far off base.

@chiz I went through nearly the same headache when I just wanted to register a year ago to vote up Legends 3 suggestions in the suggestion box. It wouldn't let me register at all at first. I don't think I got around to doing it for real for a solid month. When I saw the “Become a Servbot” button I panicked because I had a feeling it wouldn't work. I crossed my fingers and hit it and everything was OK. Good luck with that — that's all it comes down to at this point, really..
Se...phi...ra? Ack. Can't we just go back to Lilly? (sic) Sephira's not a bad name by any means, but I really liked the name Aero. Ah well.
EDIT: No sign of this wallpaper yet on Unity, is there? Hmm... I wonder if we'll have to venture into the Japanese devroom for all of these. I hope not. >__<

Man, it's funny how much the Servbot costume looks like a dress considering the percentage of Legends fans (and Devroom Servbots) are guys. I AM A DORK.
