@miss Dashe I think you should go all out and write Legends 3 as you hope to see it and and see how much of it comes true. (But be prepared to take the blame if people don't like the results) And, being a Nintendo Fanboy, I wouldn't know. That's a good quote. I think I'm gonna keep that one. xP Playstation is from the same era as N64. You should be upset that there's no N64 port. Except not really. Because the N64 port of Legends 1 sucked. :01:

I think the only reason you're saying that is because you know I'll give the Bonnes more screentime than Mega Man himself. I'll stick with just writing out the weapon reset and see where that gets me.

Well, you've caught me there. You know me too well, Miss Dashe. Too bad, because that would've been awesome. (and fun to read if nothing else)(Perhaps I should ask you to write a sequel to MisAdventures?)

Oh, sure. Maybe in another topic. You'd get to actually walk around the Gesellschaft or whatever they're piloting these days, without being confined to using the Gustaff the whole time. It'll be swell. If they're actually making this NOW instead of the real Legends 3, I think I might go on a genuine power trip. Though in light of this article, I kind of doubt they'd be making anything other than Legends 3 at the moment.

This is actually an interesting thought.....
Even though I'm sure what we're dealing with now IS the real deal.

Its true that they would just turn back and give up on teh project... a game made by the fans opinions... might be cool but probably not reccomended to reapeat. Still the early developing I saw seems quite nice to give up now.

Hey… Remember when he vowed to make Rockman DASH 3 before he retires? You don't suppose he actually meant… that this would be his last game? Oh, man, that's too scary to think about…

Whoa Cleveland, why've you got to go saying things like that? I mean, I guess I can see where he's coming from though. That is a bit sad, but I mean, I guess it's good to know that even Inafune is tired of the way things are being done. Seems like some pretty brutally honest words, but the honesty's nice.

That's the impression I'm getting too, but I really hope it's not true. Anyway, didn't he just get promoted? Like, a few months ago? :23:

lol Just to get this cleared up, yes I have a distaste towards the system, but my "thought" on what this Project actually is, isn't based on that. It would just seem logical to do that in order to gain interest, then throw us a hay-maker. In which case, I'm sure Inafune would retire afterward.
Mostly, it's just food for thought. Whether it's this or the real deal, we're still getting something out of Legends and that makes me happy.
And uh, I'm horrible about quoting, but someone mentioned something along the lines of being excited that the Legends characters will be popping out of the screen? Yeah, that's not what the 3DS does. The 3DS makes everything 3D within a "box" that's attached to the back of the system. Granted, that "box" isn't actually there, but that's the effect it gives. So, 3DS does not equal typical "3D" that we're all use to from movies and the like. Just thought I should...ya know, throw that out there. lol

From what I've seen, it only does the depth. Link me if you find something that says or shows otherwise please. :3

I don't like Inafune's outlook anyway. I'll be happy for him if or when he calls it quits, though, because being part of something on that large a scale for over two decades has to take its toll. He's probably really tired and really annoyed. He's even got some gray hairs.

@dash You're jumping to a lot of conclusions just based on the word “Project” in the title and a metaphor about a rocketship. My brain can't keep up with yours, I guess. :06: @3ds From what I've read the effect of the 3DS is similar to a stereoscopic image, except you don't have to cross your eyes to see it. I have no idea how good modern eye-popping 3D is, but it sounds like the effects might be similar. Ultimately it is just screwing with your depth perception. (I wonder if that's bad for your eyes...) in·clover I can see getting upset at the “Games are not art” bit, but it looks like all Inafune's saying in that article is that Clover should've promoted the games better. o__o;

I was only referring to that bit about how entertainment ≠ art, really. I know he wasn't ripping on Clover.
@project, If the word "3" is a part of the title, I find it difficult to see it as anything but the third official entry in the series. Besides, Inafune wants it to be good, really good. Does that sound like he's referring to some mediocre shovelware meant to tide over an audience?
