(I take too long on edits; this goes better here)
@miss Dashe I'd like to think I've toned my cynicism down quite a bit these days. Most of the time these days if I have something cynical to say, I just don't bother posting it. Maybe I'm not as relentlessly optimistic as before, but still. I honestly thought I was doing better. Huh... =/ Ah well.

Oh, you are definitely doing better. It's just hard to escape your past in a community like this one. Which for you isn't necessarily a bad thing. You actually take the cake for most interesting MMLS backstory. You've even got an image, even if you haven't been sporting orange hats or monster headphones lately. (Then again, who am I to talk...I've sort of figured out how to keep my hair in check and totally switched soda brands.)

You switched soda brands!?
... Oh. This totally isn't on topic. Man. ... I'm sorry it's just that shocking.

Sigh… All this talk about Legends 3 and people who actually matter to this forum is getting me depressed. Have you no good news for me?

No good news? Are you even reading this? There's been more optimism and forum spirit here in the past three weeks than there's been in years on the grounds of Comic-Con speculation alone! We're about to hit a massive anniversary, and no matter what TGS yields, ten years of nothing really ought to be a cause for celebration.

Oh man, I have so much to say in this topic... I have been running this forum a long time, and looking on the bright side even when another few years of nothing is staring you straight in the face is the best way to keep a fanbase thriving. I admire that kind of persistence! Do you guys feel that? You know, that electric feeling in the air that tingles the hairs on the back of your neck and revitalizes your inner optimist? It's back, guys! Hope has returned to the hopefuls of DASH and I'll murder a Capcom employee if they strike us down again. I laughed a bit too much. Hey, wait, it's not like this year's our only chance of seeing more Legends stuff! This past month I've been finding closeted Legends fans at least once a week. None of them had any clue there were other people out there who'd even heard of the series. And so far at least one of them has started finding more Legends fans on their own. None of them frequent any of the websites, and I doubt any of them will start, but I've certainly got people talking, especially since MvC3's just over the horizon. I'm one of those fans, I've loved the series for years but only now do I have a bit more hope than I had a couple of years ago, enough to join this site after knowing about it (and visiting it) for about three years and finally interacting with the community. And apparently Legends was more popular in Japan? Seriously, if it was more popular over there, it's only a matter of time. Time is nothing to people who've been waiting this long. Rockman DASH 3 is one of the most wanted videogame sequels in Japan: www.destructoid.com/famitsu-lists-most-wanted-sequels-of-all-time-in-survey-130852.phtmlI also wonder if X fanboys will plague these threads? You wouldn't believe me when i say Volnutt and Legends is hated among various gamefaqs forums and around the Capcom-Unity(SOME parts of the site). Never mind those people, they're too attached to the X series to see the good in the Legends series and it's characters (they also used to do the same to the EXE fanbase), it's best to just ignore those people in any subjective matter and prove them wrong when possible with facts, it's not much but it's enough. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I'm honestly more concerned about an influx of people who can't type to save their lives than an influx of Legends-bashers. Telling one person proper nouns get capital letters and sentences end in punctuation is easy. Telling a hundred? Not so much. :15: Expect a major grammar crackdown on my part if we see a sequel. *Gulp* I guess I'll have to pay attention to my grammar if I plan to hang around here. :18: I forbid you to die of anticipation on my message board. If you absolutely must drop dead from this, go do that on MLU or something. I'll keep that in mind. We're about to hit a massive anniversary, and no matter what TGS yields, ten years of nothing really ought to be a cause for celebration. The anniversary itself sounds a bit more worth celebrating than nothing to me. :06:

IC, the fact that there's hype right now at all is good nonetheless. The fact that we're getting information out of Inafune is good news in itself. MvC3's good news. And the site's activity spurt is also good news. It's not news news, but it's information that's positively affecting the community nonetheless.
Rockxas, as far as your typing is concerned, you're good. Quite good for a new member if I do say so myself, even if you've been lurking for most of my administration.
Buuhan, you're officially in charge of making sure our cake isn't a lie.

Alright, I'm understanding that hype for the Legends 3 game has been causing major excitement explosions of emotions everywhere. (O rly, grammar failure?) I also understand that Legends is getting more cameos and appearances in the gaming world with things like MvC3, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and the bobbleheads on Capcom Unity. This is all good news indeed. Not only that, I think fan interest in Legends has also grown in these past 2 years, kinda like how everything happens for a reason (inevitability). Is that understandable?
Wait, that's not related to what I was gonna ask. Oh wait, yeah it is. Sorry!
Anyway, what exactly is TGS?

Well TGS stands for the Tokyo Game Show and it's like E3 but for Japan(a trade show where most of the biggest companies show they're upcoming stuff and announce new stuff). It use to be really huge but it's gotten smaller over time. Nintendo historically never really participated much, if at all. It starts September 16 and ends the 19th, though the public days are only the last two.

Hey quick question everyone. If Legends 3 actually happens what system do you think it will be on?

Traditionally, it would be PS3. Legends was conceived as a Sony-exclusive Megaman, though that might not necessarily be the case after such a long time. Otherwise, I don't think it matters which system it's on so long as it's there.

Probably PS3, running by Capcom's track record with Legends ports and re-releases, but I'm hoping it's multi-platform so they can broaden their audience. There're a lot of weird console-specific fanboys out there. Whatever it is, though, I'm getting it.

Ok. I only asked because a lot of Capcom-Unity Legends fans think it may be Wii exclusive(Due to it being less expensive to develop and blah blah)
I'm going to go ahead and bet my money on the Ps3. Capcom has stated many times that they are working to get Legends 1 and 2 on PSN, NOT Wiiware.
Besides anyone remember when Inafune basically said he'd just throw Megaman in the lost planet engine? Lost Planet is not on the Wii thus supporting even more to my claim(Although I could always be wrong)
