I wasn't crazy about Devil May Cry 4 at first, but it really grew on me. As for the “not for the faint of heart” comment, well, it's rated M for Mature for a reason.
I hope Capcom can match the fluidity of Bayonetta in the new Devil May Cry game. I thought Devil May Cry 4 had over-the-top combo action, but Bayonetta made that game seem moderate and bland..

Did anybody read my post? Is it three or four?

I understand your confusion. I wish I could verify, I'm clinging to the notion that there is another game being announced... today for them? Tomorrow for us?
I am giving up if they don't announce this much needed sequel soon. 10 years is quite enough time to ponder.

Ack.
I need to learn to edit faster. Anyway, it's DmC, Asura's Wrath and Dead Rising 2.

Anyway, it's DmC, Asura's Wrath and Dead Rising 2. Dead Rising 2? That's not new. I think I've known about that for at least a year. It's even coming out very soon. Ooooh, I can't wait to hear what else is coming!

It's new in that it hasn't been released yet. And they have more info. Or something. And a trailer. I guess.
I was kind of disappointed that was one of the announcements, too, but hey. What can you do?
I'm pretty sure that's all they're going to reveal today anyway.

I don't think I like the look of the new Dante. I'm not boycotting the game or anything I just hope I enjoy playing. The 4 new games came from Capcom Europe twitter(maybe there was more confirmation later, dunno). They said they "predict" 4 new game so it seemed like a coy little post trying to hide a more traditional "I know something you don't know, I know something you don't know!". Who knows maybe they were actually predicting and didn't know for a fact what was being announced. We never get it easy do we :24:. This mythical fourth game that may or may not exist may or may not be Legends 3. Keep on your toes!

Right-o. The bit about four announcements was a "prediction," so it could go either way. We also have the “oft-requested MegaMan title” thing that's still up in the air, but as I recall that was never guaranteed to be announced at the TGS anyway; we just figured that was the most likely. (I think) So even if there is a fourth game announced at the TGS, there's a chance that the new MegaMan title might not be announced today, tomorrow, next week or within the next month. ...maybe.

The original hint that spawned all this was when he was talking about MMU being a game he's always wanted to make, but that there's even more going on with Megaman. He said something along the lines that "This is going to be a big year for Megaman", and "I can say it's an oft-requested thing." So it can be revealed on New Years eve and his hint would of still been accurate. That's just unlikely. Not that all announcements have to be made at the big shows. Megaman Universe was announced out of no-where and the trailer was released before PAX. So it's kinda possible for them to send out a press release in October or November announcing it. Anything is really possible, including the announcement getting pushed back till next year. That, unfortunately, happens all the time. The only real end game in this situation would probably be any new Megaman title, that's not Legends 3. Especially if it's some thing like X9, that slides nicely into the "oft-requested" bit. Either way this is already an eventfull TGS and it hasn't even started(something that couldn't be said about last years). Let's cross out fingers and enjoy it for what it is. 1up is going to live blog the Microsoft keynote and the Sony Keynote. Besides those being potentially exciting in their own right, you never know, Inafune might walk out onto the stage and talk about the "strong partnership Capcom has with [blank]" and then show a bunch of games.

I hope the MegaMan announcement does come from the TGS. If they put that off, this hype could go on for at least the next few months. :07: (assuming it doesn't do that anyway :P) I suppose it doesn't really matter, though.
The DmC announcement makes me want to power up my 360 again to get my Devil May Cry 4/Bayonetta on. ^__^

Welp, that's that. Inafune just announced the last Capcom announcement, Steel Battalion for the Xbox 360 Kinect. I are disappoint.
