Alright, so I've been fishing around the web for some info. If you don't know, Capcom is apparently going to drop a bombshell at E3 this year.
There has been much speculation to this...very few have mentioned anything about a Mega Man title. RE and DMC wouldn't exactly be bombshells, nor would Natal (from what I read).
But then there's this thing about Capcom letting Western Dev's make sequels to existing titles they've made. Which sort of leads me to believe that Legends 3 could very well be a possibility this year. Inafune was always complaining about "money money money," well...you shove all the work off to a smaller company, you save yourself money with production 'n all that.
I dunno...I think I'm being a little too hopeful for Legends 3. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this?
Oh...their bombshell could also just be RE2 remake, which would be just as awesome. xD

A "bombshell" could be damn near anything. If they can't even specify that it's Megaman-related or not yet, then all bets are off.
My hopes for another Legends game are the same as any other time Capcom's ready to make an announcement. "Now?...aw...Now?...Now?...Howaboutnow?...No?...NOW! Damnit....Now?"

My bad Raijin...I forgot to mention that it's a title for an already established title/series.
And maybe they don't want to say because they know we want it sooooo bad. lol

If they do announce it and it's playstation only I will be so amazingly upset. Not really putting my hopes up for anything though.

If they announce MML3 for ANYTHING I'll be overjoyed for the sole fact that it finally exists. I have a PS3 so a playstation exclusive won't kill me, but if they announce it for 360 or Wii then I guess I'll just have to buy another system. I haven't been whining for a decade just for a mere set back like that to keep me from enjoying some Legends goodness.

So far, nothing has been said on Capcom Unity. There is one thing for certain- another SF or VS game is out since SSF4 came out a while ago, and everyone already knows about MVC3..., guess that means Lost Planet can be added to the 'tilted hand' list since #2 just came out, Dead Rising 2's in development as well, so that's one more removed, methinks.
Hopefully there might be a few details to sniff out so that we can at least take a guess at what they're cooking up.

Unfortunately, I don't think any one is going to leak anything...which is so stupid! But I guess it'll make the "surprise" that much more...surprising?
And on the issue of which system it gets released on...I'd love to see it made for PS3 and then ported to Wii. Microsoft doesn't exactly deserve the awesomeness of Legends, imo. But what would more than likely happen is that it'd get released across all 3 systems to boost possible sales.
Really...I wish E3 would get here faster. x.x

hmm gamefaqs doesnt have anything.
i guess they are intending to annoucne that whatever it it: it's under developement or so forth, and if it's a bombshell planted into an established series, that means either a series needing revival and finally getting it after a bunch of "no"s form Capcom or a series doing great getting an Alternate Universe
me: i think MML falls into the first category so MML is a minor possibility
when does E3 2010 happen? and is it televised?if so tell me what tv station, and i'll keep my eyes peeled for it.

G4 is doing live coverage...and I believe it starts June 14th. I may be off by a day, but the 14th seems right to me.

Pfff G4.
You realize they're only going to cover what they feel like, right? I tried watching their "coverage" of E3 one year and all they went over was a bunch of popular stuff everyone already knew about. They used retarded comedy sketches to fill in airtime when they didn't actually have anything to show, which was pretty much the bulk of it.
I think if MML3 did show at E3 you'd only be shown like a snippet of the presentation, if at all. Then you'd see a bunch of stuff on the internet weeks or months later that G4 didn't bother going over at all.
Or not. It's been awhile since I bothered watching G4, so maybe changes were made I don't know about.

Hopefully, if its released, It will be for the PS3. The control layout was perfect, and they can't easily rework it for the 360. Of course, MML already gets me scoffed at by most people outside of MMLS, and the PS3 factor will get me disgraced. Do I care, though?

It's been awhile since I bothered watching G4, so maybe changes were made I don't know about. Tell me about it, they wouldn't shut up about Halo when it came out, and don't even cover games as much as they did when they started . G4 devolved into the dregs of what you'd find on most network stations- it's either that Ninja Warrior nonsense or Cops.... I gave up on them a few years ago, and from what you say, they haven't changed at all.... Now the real question should be about the 'established series' the question is how would they define it- is it one that has had firm grounds for a long time (8-10 years or more), or something fairly recent, but recently forgotten? The thing to remember is that Capcom has a lot of established series, but I can't help feel their idea is based on a decidedly skewed point of view...

Hrm ya know, you seem to love bashing things huh? oh well what does that matter mr Hanmuru Doll? lol personally i'm only in it for two reason: chance to see what Capcom has planned and to see what gaming studios are up too, E3 is all forms of electronic entertainment, so this is actually quite expected they of G4 will only cover slight bits of it. mostly Game devs just show off at e3, now whatever this bombshell is, perhaps it's worth looking at, perhaps it's not we wont know until we see it. in my case: i dont really care what G4 shows, as long as they dont do an advert for some vampire-flick or vampire-show i'll be fine
