This is the opposite of hope. =/ Literally.
(EDIT: I guess, to be fair, seeing as I've been skeptical about all Inafune's positive "I realy want to maek Legends, guys!" interviews, I should say something about how this interview probably doesn't mean anything either. I really would take it with a grain of salt, though — depending on how you read this it could mean nothing.)

I don't want a megaman legends three if it doesn't keep it's old formula.

Green is right about the complete opposite of hope. I mean, if you look at the 'Related Posts', you'll see back in August 2009, one of Capcom's higher-ups saying that "if Inafune really wanted to do something, he probably wouldn't be denied". The implication here, is that either Capcom is constantly denying him the right to do something with a subseries he apparently loves and wouldn't purposely do wrong by over a matter of $15,000,000, or rather that Inafune in reality has a waning interest towards Legends/DASH and actually doesn't want to do it. After all, he's turned down Inticreates' offer (fair enough) and there's been a number of times when a previous DASH group member has said "Anytime you're ready...", and it still hasn't come to light. Inafune may indeed have a special place in his heart for DASH, but there's absolutely no indication that he wants to do anything with it, and a lot of indication that he doesn't, rather than can't. *goes back to lurking in spare time*

You're reading more cynicism into my post than I intended, that's for sure. o__o If we're taking interviews as fact, then Inafune's previous interviews indicate he would like to make DASH. So there isn't "absolutely no indication" that he wants to do it. If we're assuming those interviews were just lies, we might as well assume this one is too. Just a thought. Worst case scenario, this interview could mean he's changed his mind, but honestly, depending on how you read it, it could have no actual implications for DASH whatsoever. It's not as though Inafune's interest in the series is enough to guarantee that a new game would be a hit, either. $15,000,000 is still a lot. ( "Even I agree to that.") When you consider Capcom's recent trend toward MegaMan games, too — when was the last time MegaMan saw a new series installment as a (non-DLC) console release? (X8?) — I seriously doubt Capcom spent anywhere near $15,000,000 on any of the latest MegaMans. [citation needed] I really would like to know more about what Inticreates offered, though.. That sounded interesting.
