Hello. I came across something interesting from this topic on the RockmanPM forums. Apparently, a member of 4chan who correctly pinpointed when the .Exe/Star Force crossover would be announced said that a Legends game for the Wii will be announced by the end of the year. Of course, this comes from some guy on 4chan, so make of it what you want... Nothing to get excited over, really, but it is nice to see Legends mentioned on a non-fansite every now n' then..

@green: Yep, it's true. See here (link also from RockmanPM) for a bit more info.

Wow, seeing the old EXE sprites made me all nostalgic for a minute there. But EXE 1 internets? Yikes.. That's interesting that someone predicted/whatever’d that, though. I would hope he's right about Legends, but wrong about it being on Wii.

Ugg... They better not use motion controls in MML3. I'd have to find out whoever was behind the idea and take a visit to instanthitman.com

I'd like MML3 even if it was on the wii, i don't have time to be picky about a sequel.

If this game (assuming this rumor is true) is made for the Wii, I've no complaints. I looked into this rumor, and supposedly, localization is underway as well as the game development itself... but for now, I want to see proof of this before the old 'dashed hopes' (no pun intended) syndrome repeats itself...

I'll take legends 3 for wii if i have to, (seriously, there isn't anything wrong with motion controls) but Id still much rather have a high-res, high-budget, PS3 game,
Still, it'll be a matter of days until tis rumor is proven false, so we'ever.
Aside: Typing on DSi browser is hell.

Eh.. the only reason I don't want it on Wii is that I don't own a Wii. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a sequel on any of this generation's hardware. (as long as it's not a step backwards I'm happy) I might buy a Wii for Legends 3, though, if it happened. I bought a PSP for Powered Up/DASH for about as much as a Wii costs.. why not, I suppose. I would still prefer it on some more powerful hardware, but you know, whatever.

I guess I wouldn't mind it on the Wii. I don't have one myself but if it came out for the Wii and with the cross-over apparently coming out to the U.S. I'd get one. I think one thing that would be interesting is if it did come out on the Wii. A guy from PTI came to my wood shop class and showed us some upcoming tech (x-box mobile, the p-ism, and some head gear from I think nintendo) Anyway I believe the basic idea of the head gear (maybe for the Wii) is to use your brain-waves to effect game-play. With that said I'd like it for the PS3. Don't have one but as long as the controls were similar to the previous installments I'd play it.

I'm not saying I don't want it on the wii, I just don't want it to rely much at all on motion. Twilight princess was pretty much gesture free aside from aiming which is understandable so its definitely doable.
P.S. I don't have a Wii but if that's what Legends is on I'm borrowing someone's and I know people would be more likely to loan out a wii than a ps3 or 360 so if the wii control scheme sucks I'm stuck with it.
Last minute thought: If it were available through steam... but that's just dreaming of things that wont happen.

Last minute thought: If it were available through steam... If my Source mod gets popular enough, it might get Capcom talking about it. That's ME dreaming of things that won't happen.

From a financial standpoint, MML3 on Wii makes a lot of sense. Developing Wii game is a lot less expensive then developing for PS3 or Xbox 360. While a big, flashy PS3 or Xbox game would be cool, the Wii would be a much more attractive option for something as risky as MML3, simply because Capcom would lose less money if it bombed.
I would be okay with motion controls as long as they didn't result in a major change of gameplay. For example, if you had the option to aim with the remote instead of a lock on button (like the right stick in MML2), I would be perfectly fine with that.

Thats rather interesting. I still would rather approach this with caution being what is the possibility of Capcom releasing a MML3 compared to another Battle Network or Star Force game.
It seems they are releasing a combination of both Battle Network and Star Force in one whole game. The only thing they can do now to make it work more evil is to put Zero in it. Then I'm done and I shall to executed Riot Control upon their building. I just have to get away from Okinawa and hope on a plane to Main Land Japan.
The Rage is on the verge of giving in. I might even purchase this game just to see what is so great about these games. Hum bug!?
