Along with your vote please give two reasons why you want MMl3 to be released on your system of choice. Please don't base your reasons on the fact you own that system.

1. PS3, they have the control setup already, and I've seen the graphic abilities peaking in when my bro's playing MGS4. Far too many series were killed by the Wii's motion control. 2. The PS3 has intarweb surfing abilities, they could do something like the Dreamcast and have downloadable content.

PS3 all the way, because the system needs some more good Capcom games desperately. Plus, I'd much rather be controlling everyone's favorite Megaman incarnation with a traditional controller than with the wii's point 'n click interface. If a third legends title were to be made, it'd probably use a modified third-person shooter engine, and the dual analog sticks would be perfect for that in a way that wii fanboys don't understand.
And hey, I USED to be a wii fanboy, until I realized the thing was nothing but a lot of hype wrapped in an attractive package. When the two best things about your console is the third sequel to a fighting game (Smash Bros Brawl) and the ability to download BETTER games from the golden years, there's something wrong. At least hacking the wii has become easier now, and I'll soon have roms and emulators working on it.

Xbox360/PS3 would be my preferred medium. I've never played a PS3, but as far as I'm concerned they're pretty equal. If I had to choose one or the other it would be 360 because it doesn't cost a small fortune to own. But I think the game would reach the most people with a dual 360/PS3 release. And it would play the best on the best hardware. Assuming we want Legends 3 to be that “big” game Inafune once said he wanted to make it. Realistically, I could see the PSP working out. Particularly in Japan, where they have DASH 1 and 2 on PSP already. PSP has the benefit of only requiring that much effort. It could probably pretty easily fit a game about the size of Legends 1 or 2 with some minor upgrades in graphics etc. The downside is no one here would buy it. Few games do well on PSP. Some are in love with the idea of having a DLC MegaMan Legends 3. I don't like the idea. I understand the amount of work would be that much less, but I think the game would be scaled down too much. But after nearly ten years, it's not surprising, the things for which people are willing to settle. ...and I don't have anything to say about Nintendo DS/Wii supporters. Except no.

Because it would be 3d. Second because if it was on the wii it would that cell shade shit. DS it would not be the 3d you guys want. Xbox 360 would be nice but I would not be able to play it... For the ps3 it would be cooler. We might even see addons once in a while.

Directed at Darklink 99: Why the cell-shading hate? The existing Legends games are very cartoony, to the point that they already capture the essanance of a cartoon. Which, if you will remember, is the POINT of cell shading.
Would you really want a game with realistic environments, life-like character models, but still have little serve-bot heads everywhere? If so, go play Dead Rising. Xbox 360 version, of course; I don't want to wish harm upon you and tell you to play the awful Wii port.
Stylized humans, like the Final Fantasy series uses, could concievably work in a Legends 3, but I'd still much rather have the series not change it's art style suddenly and without good reason. So much work has been done with cell-shading lately, and it's not all "Okami" nausiating, or flat colored "Killer 7" boring either. Take a look at Red Steel 2, or that one PS3 game (that I can't remember the name of) which also using highly advanced cell-shading methods with complex textures.
Anyways, this is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.

I would prefer Xbox 360 or Wii because I can't afford a PS3. Because it would be 3d. Second because if it was on the wii it would that cell shade crap. DS it would not be the 3d you guys want. Xbox 360 would be nice but I would not be able to play it... For the ps3 it would be cooler. We might even see addons once in a while. Mega Man Legends is practically cel shaded already with it's graphics style, so it seems likely that it will be no matter what system it's on. And why wouldn't it be 3D if it was on DS? The DS is capable of decent quality 3D graphics (Phantom Hourglass and the Final Fantasy remakes come to mind) and is actually more powerful the the PS1.

Second because if it was on the wii it would that cell shade crap. ..."it would that cell shade crap?" lololololol Ok. It's been said twice already, but the first MML (and MoTB, from what I can tell) used an early shading technique that was pretty much meant for the same purposes. The very same that was used in those Fear Effect games (kinda stupid, but it's a good example). mhmm. I'd like mine on the 360. With some degree of cell shading, just to p.o. darklink99. Also, because the 360 is the poor man's PS3, and Wii would limit the game's full potential.

I'm really undecided here because the only system on this poll that I actually own would be a DS. I would have been perfectly fine with a PS2 release (so I can actually buy it), but I'm not even sure if they still make games for that system.

I must admit, I find it quite hard to choose which system would be best. Personally, I believe Mega Man Legends 3 should be released on all the listed systems; which might help with sales.
If I had to choose, it would be PS3 since I feel that it since the previous Legends games were released for the Playstation, maybe it should be released on the PS3 as well. Ja, it's simply for the nostalgia.
It could work on the Wii, but I wonder if it would do the game enough justice.

If I had to choose, it would be PS3 since I feel that it since the previous Legends games were released for the Playstation, maybe it should be released on the PS3 as well. Ja, it's simply for the nostalgia. Eeeh.. There was MegaMan 64 and PC MegaMan Legends. And PC Rockman DASH 2, but that doesn't count. Just putting it out there. (Also worthy of mention is the fact that there was no Xbox option at the time of Legends release, so it's aaaaalmost not fair to the Microsoft "fans.." but I digress) And I had to throw it out there now that you made me think of it: whatever console it might be I would hope there would be a side-by-side PC release as well. That would work really well for me actually.. I might opt just for that over a console release. Maybe both. Who knows? Also, HOLY CRAP GUYS WE HAVE AN ATTACHMENTS OPTION FOR POSTS NOWWW!!! ...is new, right?

I say it should be released on all three systems. That way, everyone who owns one of those systems can get the game, and everyone is happy!... Until there are arguments about which version is better, which will slowly spread to every Megaman site, and let more people hear about the game, thus making it more popular!
Actually, the Game Boy might be a good platform to release it on...

The problem with an all-console release is that either the Wii version would have to be radically different, or the 360/PS3 versions would have to be scaled down to maintain similarity with the Wii version. Two different kinds of Legends 3 could be interesting, though.
Everybody wouldn't be happy; either one group would be left unhappy, or everybody would be unhappy. @___@ Nintendo's distancing themselves from conventional gaming has some interesting repercussions.
But hey, maybe they could pull it off.
