Doesn't really mean anything as usual. When the game is announced to be in production, then I'll believe it, until then its all BS. One thing I particularly liked is how they completely ignored the fact he mentioned MML. They were more interested in other things, though thats completely understandable.

I somehow doubt that... given our numbers of active members. (I probably don't count as active any more  I just hope that maybe in 10 years or so, they create a new legends, and they can give it a shot to a new generation. Then maybe Legends would get the popularity I feel it deserved. |

Just to shut 'em up. Hmm, if that's the case, I wouldn't blame Inafune if he did. He's already got a handfull with the Onimusha/Genji fracas with Okamoto as it is. If he really does want to make a Legends 3, that's good, but as already reiterated, it's just words. The only way this will be put to rest is for either Inafune to bring solid evidence of a work-in-progress for MML3 or to to just say it won't be happening. There's already enough people arguing that debate hammer and tongs as it is. Not that I'm calling Inafune a liar, but if it doesn't happen anytime soon, then it's nothing to stres over. I've got bigger fish to fry at present. |

Look, he may want to do a sequel, but if he wanted it enough, it'd happen. He's basically the most powerful producer at Capcom, and smart companies listen to what their big names tell them to do, which is why Shigeru Miyamoto can make a game about dogs and why Shinji Mikami can take an extra six months to totally change the Resident Evil 4 engine. Speaking of engines, supposedly the Dead Rising engine was made with the third MML game in mind, so it's not like they'd have to start from scratch or anything. It's time to put up or shut up, basically.

Anybody live near Manhattan? Inufane is going to be at the Gamestop on 33rd and Broadway! I'm going to stop by and get my MML signed. Maybe I can muster up enough courage to ask about MML3 too  |

My sister's actually going to NYC tomorrow, but I doubt she'd go to Gamestop, and I REALLY doubt she'd let me tag along with her. Oh wow...I wish I had seen that about Inafune earlier. I could've taken the train to Manhatten. >.>
Anyways, I actually think it's possible for MML3 to not be far off. As I just learned the other day...if you kill 54,994 zombies in Dead Raising, then you unlock a special weapon. What is this special weapon called? The Mega Buster...
Of course, I've no idea if this was already pointed in other threads or not. But I think Capcom is trying to hint at something. Servbot helmets...the Mega Buster. C'mon...MML3 is on the way, Capcom is just keeping a very, very, VERY tight lid on it.

“Mega Buster” is a pretty general term(original MegaMan and MegaMan.EXE both call it that, too).. :/ That doesn't really imply any connection to Legends at all. All that talk about them planning something in the shadows is bogus. That's what we thought like years ago after we heard about NamcoxCapcom and then the DASH PSP Ports(there was something else around then, too..), but it didn't(and doesn't) mean anything. A cameo is just a cameo, a re-release just a re-release. also, yeah, that's been known since like before Dead Rising was released. |
