Well, spawned from the aggravation that I could never seem to beat the S-class license test within the time limit.... I started trying to make a gameshark code to freeze the timer.... well that didn't pan out too well as I could never figure out the proper addresses of the timer. However my fiddling did provide me with a useful code. 8008C2B4-0007 = Max out the 'Power' rating on the buster gun. 8008C2B5-0007 = Max out the 'Energy' rating on the buster gun. 8008C2B6-0007 = Max out the 'Range' rating on the buster gun. 8008C2B7-0007 = Max out the 'Rapid' rating on the buster gun. Useful as that even during the license exams where you can not change your gear, you can at least FORCE the power Alternately you could also prolly use the equipped item code to force Accessory pack omega as an equipped buster part. But I never do things the easy way... also the only codes I had on hand were infinite life, and infinite Zenny... so I had to improvise. Wheee~

Those are very interesting. Do you know how the still camera cheat works or how to properly change the characters (undergroundruin has some of the latter but to me only the character outlines apply, not color)?
And are there any dummied out equipments (particularly helmets as I've read that some also change Megaman's model)? The possibilities may be endless, but I'll leave it at that for now.
Whea!!!! (a pattern may or may not follow)

The still camera codes and the like, you need to be using an emulator with something like [pec] plugin to use it properly, or, use joker commands, far as I know though, there is only one dummy helmet item, but you can only use it if you enter the code in for helmet modifier... 3008C252 0003 this will turn you into tron, but you will still have the megaman palette... if we can isolate the address values for the palette/skin of Megaman, then we would be able to use the alternate characters for screen shots and such, other than that there is really little use for the code.
Personally, since I can't model for crap, and dont have the time to actually LEARN how to use blender. I can't just build the characters from scratch so I would like to find a way to rip the models from the game.
I know how to do this in the N64 version of mml1, but to my knowledge no one has successfully ripped models from the PSX versions of either... I was thinking of just buying a bunch of sculpy or something and making the models that way... but then I would only really end up with some nifty light weight action figures... lol
Whee~

It's just that I've seen what those codes should look like (like the Von Bleucher is everywhere, and Glyde vs Tron@Jagd Krabbe at Pokte Village). When I applied them, they either still have Megaman's palette or crashed the game.
As for the models, I really don't know. They may have already been ripped a ways back but we'll just have to wait for someone else to show up and say it.
Whii~

I've hunted for a wile, no one has found a way to properly rip PSX models. :/ at least not since I last checked a few months ago.
Those codes are really complicated to work with though, since there are so many variables you have to take in account at an one given time. There are codes that can be used to load up a character as well, if you can find them that is.... So it can be quite a lot of work...

The characters swiching in MML2 isnt as hard as it seems. Applying both lines of code will some times keep Megaman's textures, but walking through the right entrance in the game can fix it. Also, the 1st line of code means draw this texture and the second one means load this model. So if you apply both strands, but then delete the bottom one and reapply it, it will work. I dont know if you can cancel codes in the game with a game shark though. I use an emulator for gamesharking.

tinyurl.com/gsadapThe link above should redirect to a Google images result of 'gameshark adaptor psx' (no single quotes). That model plugs into the unused parallel port (some say it might've been used for LAN multiplayer, but absolutely no game made use of this port) at the back of the earlier models of the PS (later big models and the PSOne models do not have this port). An on/off switch is found on one side of the adaptor.

I use epsxe 1.7.0 for all my ps1 needs now.... Mostly because my psx was stolen a few years back. (along with all my legends games and about 90% of my other games....) Come to think of it a lot of my shtuffs been stolen.... D: no wonder my game shelf is so small now.... I can't believe it just dawned on me right now that I've moved to digital copies of my games.... CRAP... Well anyway back to the topic on hand, yea you can turn off cheats in epsxe if your using the pec plugin.. just have to press ctrl+h I think to bring up the cheat interface and change what codes you have active, and then BAM tada

...because my psx was stolen a few years back. (along with all my legends games and about 90% of my other games....) Oh crud! Well anyway back to the topic on hand, yea you can turn off cheats in epsxe if your using the pec plugin.. just have to press ctrl+h I think to bring up the cheat interface and change what codes you have active, and then BAM tada I simply press escape and go to the cheat interface (I also use pec). The problem I have is that frame-skipping doesn't work with the pec plugin (while it does act as a virtual game genie to the video plugin, the game I'm playing won't speed up when I press F4), using the plugin directly makes it work. And honestly, I don't think turning off cheats is available on the Gameshark Cd version.
