Love doctor who, bought the tennant screwdriver from toys R us at lunchtime in college once, my friends will testify that it broke the automatic doors to the art building, dunno if the sensor didnt like the ultraviolet or if it was a coincidence, but damn it was cool xD I love Matt Smith, love the new tardis, i think a combination of slightly retuning this series more for kids and keeping david tennant on for too long have kinda tarnished him though, not that i dont love tennant, but the BBC had real trouble letting him go tardis seems to keep getting bigger too, that aint cool... new screwdriver is stupidly big also, and there still isnt a decent die cast kinda thing, apart from the £200+ limited replica my friend chris went to the BBC when we were in london on a business connections kinda trip, he got to see a tardis, apparently the bbc have a few littered around the studios , i went to cartoon networks london office, to the concepts department... not much of interest there tbh

I dunno. :21: I don't think laying some stupid orchestral movie score on top of the original was an improvement, personally. It lacks the dreamy ambiance the original had. But whatever you're into. That would be fantastic. But with your record I doubt it'll ever happen. >_> Prove me wrong, I'd love to hear it.

I have a feeling Tom Baker will end up being my favorite. Especially compared to the newer younger actors ( they don't seem all that interesting), but that may just be my preference for protagonists being wise and middle-aged. Mad hair, massive scarf, jelly babies. What's not to like? The Doctor always used to have a grandfatherly streak in him. Especially back when his companion really was his grand daughter. Thank you for summarising Doctor Who better than I ever could. Delia Derbyshire was a pretty amazing woman. She made that theme long before synthesisers were available and in the most painstaking way imaginable. And then the BBC Radiophonic Workshop decided they wanted to keep their members anonymous, meaning she got no share of the royalties and died penniless. Evil, no? I myself am quite fond of Patrick Troughton's opening. The theme's the same, but the visuals are quite unnerving. Like MRI scans, until his face pops out and he's all like " ". Eh, I quite liked that one. Some nice military-style drumming, not to mention interesting use of a didgeridoo (listen closely to the opening titles, you'll hear it). I'm just gonna blame Moffat for that one, as I don't recall Davies really contradicting the capabilities of the Sonic Screwdriver. I seem to remember Tennant spamming his Screwdriver as well. Not sure about Eccleston. But then again, how else are they suppose to convince children that they need one? I love Matt Smith, love the new tardis, i think a combination of slightly retuning this series more for kids and keeping david tennant on for too long have kinda tarnished him though, not that i dont love tennant, but the BBC had real trouble letting him go You're telling me. Tennant was the BBC's poster boy for the longest time. I think it was the hair that did it. They couldn't replace him until they found someone with better hair. And I am done with quoting.

I too am a Whoite! (Or a whovian as Grahm Norton would call us.) Anybody else miss Martha Jones? She was my favorite.
I would like to see a Dalek get assimilated by a Cyberman, forming a Cyberdalek. Most indestructable force ever.
