Nah, not all of us. Just the ones you know really well. I may be in charge but I'm not a total jerk! I'd only give out a mean custom title on April Fool's, and only if I know you REALLY well. Sorry I was vague. (Found here)

Oh, yeah. I'd completely forgotten about that.

is it wrong that I'm slightly skeptical of an April 1 release date? If you're that concerned, I'm willing to delay the new release until May 1st, but you have to take the any and all flak caused by said delay. :22:
For those interested, here's the recolour job: v2-Mechanical, v4-Classic, & The Main Gate

Aw poo. Go easy on BC, he was just teasing I'm sure. The recoloring looks pretty awesome by the way. Looking at 3 panels together is rather enchanting.

@bc/EC: Same here, but if that's the date it's out on, well hey. Also EC, the new panel colors look really nice. Though is it just my monitor or is the Main Gate's colouring just a bit too dark? :22: Dashe: Really? : o Hm...aside from your administration's initiation, what other MMLS events happened on April 1 st?

I'm pretty sure April 1, 2006 was when fAB deleted everyone's post count and posted the second version of the rules. 08, 09, and 10 are drawing blanks at the moment, but I don't think much happened those years to begin with.

I seem to remember you saying this is based off of a greasemonkey script. Is it possible for one to use that script with greasemonkey in order to post these smileys on any website? That is, if it were to insert the tags rather than the :##: code.

EKP! in its current state is rather far and removed from the original Greasemonkey script I had written, so it'd take some work to make sure it's compatible again (or, alternatively, just using the old 0.95 version...). Furthermore, no EKP! version, including the Greasemonkey script versions, ever actually changed the text; all the server sees is :00:, etc., not the code for seeing the images, which is completely client-side. So, even if you did set EKP! to work on other sites, you'd need everyone else to use EKP! as well so they could actually see the icons the codes replace (this is the main reason I moved away from it being a Greasemonkey script - I could never guarantee that everyone had, and was not willing to deal with troubleshooting with preparing and installing, 1) Firefox, 2) Greasemonkey, and 3) the script).
But, let's suppose that you do all this. You'll also need to ask permission from fAB concerning the use of emotikobun, because the base is his design and he has spoken in the past about disliking those who rip off his website designs, which I assume MMLS' emotikobun fall under. You may also want to ask permissions from Pitch and Buster Cannon, as they both contributed icons to the set, and their rights should be respected too.
However, if you're willing to 1) Live with the fact that no one else will see the icons, -OR- 2) Be willing to make your own emoticon graphics, assuming you can't get permission from fAB, I suppose there's no reason why you couldn't, as long you didn't remove my name from the credits and didn't charge money for the script.
TL;DR: Possible, sure. Likely, no.
I'd like to officially announce that the release has been delayed due to Buster Cannon. That is all.

LOL well that "sucks", in a manner of speaking. Early Announcement! I'm currently finishing up working on a new version of Emotikobun Plus!, to be released on April 1st. Good to see that this is being updated, but is it wrong that I'm slightly skeptical of an April 1 release date? If you're that concerned, I'm willing to delay the new release until May 1st, but you have to take the any and all flak caused by said delay. :22: When Chiz holds a grudge, he holds it well.

No he doesn't, it's definitely been upgraded. You've been pranked! It's great to know someone on this board still takes April Fool's Day seriously! :39:
See? :40: :39: :38: :44: :45: :42: :43: :41: :1F: :2A: :2B: :2C: :1D: :1E: :E8: :FG: :FI: :FH: :FJ:

You forgot the Cylon emotikobun, Dashe. :C6: Wouldn't you know it, I get the update out the door, and I tweak a couple things and fix a bunch of bugs within a couple hours. So TF v1.01 (EKP v1.11/QM v0.20) has just been released and TF v1.02 (EKP v1.12/QM v0.21) is already being worked on. To those interested, I'm adding 2 more browsers to the 'officially supported' list in v1.02 - K-Meleon 1.5.4 (Gecko) and SRWare Iron version-whatever-the-latest (WebKit). They'll be used from now on for general testing, along with Firefox 4, Opera 11, and Chromium latest. (Official Chrome, Flock and Safari refuse to install on my computer, so they're only tested when convenient.) I'm seriously considering putting a copy of Ubuntu or Fedora in a VM so I can run the Linux version of Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc. as well as a few Linux-centric browsers. Here's the browser table thus far, that I've tried. | Windows | Linux | Arora (W) | Bugged; One-off Test (recent test) | - | Chrome/-ium (W) | Works; Active Tests | Supposedly Works (last report months ago) | Firefox (G) | Works; Active Tests | Supposedly Works (last report months ago) | K-Meleon (G) | Works; Active Tests | - | Lunascape (G/W) | Works; One-off Test (recent test) | - | Opera (P) | Works; Active Tests | Supposedly Bugged (last report months ago) | Safari (W) | Supposedly Works (last report months ago) | - | SRWare Iron (W) | Works; Active Tests | - |
Naturally, I'll happily take feedback from anyone who uses something other than the ones listed 'active tests' above...would be nice to know how things are doing elsewhere.

also had the opportunity to check in Firefox 3.6 Linux, seems to be working fine...
I'll be sending in a minor revision over the next 48 hours or so...mostly improvements for the Site Map. Semi-related - does anyone have any issues or comments about some non-uniquely-identifying cookie use for maintaining a few settings?
