Yeah! I can't wait to be able to try this game!

The weakness and resistance idea sounds like a nice idea to add to the game. Wasn't there a toxic or poison element as well from the second game? I like what you have for the weapons as well, might tweak it a bit though. I'll post some feedback once I work out an idea.

I think if you put in too much extra stuff, you'll never actually end up with a finished game. Those are my thoughts exactly, however, I feel that this could be one of the main features of the gameplay, the game would become boring if there were no real difference between enemies other than their appearance or hp. I have other ideas that could be left behind such as the karma system, but nothing is written on stone. I appreciate your concern. Yeah! I can't wait to be able to try this game! You may have the opportunity to do so sooner or later! The weakness and resistance idea sounds like a nice idea to add to the game. Wasn't there a toxic or poison element as well from the second game? I like what you have for the weapons as well, might tweak it a bit though. I'll post some feedback once I work out an idea. It was something that drained your special weapon gauge and disable your buster gun, I used to call it poison too but it's something like energy leak i guess. I'm looking forward for your ideas! Here's something that relates to that elemental system: Yuna and Sera are capable of inflicting physical and blast damage only, once equipping special weapons though, they will be able to attack using other attributes depending on the type of weapon chosen. Talking about status ailments, there will be some of them like burning or electrocution damage, for example: -Overheating status: caused by getting hit by a flame based attack, there's a low possibility of being affected, it causes the same effect of the Burning status on MML2, depleting slowly the hp bar, it can be avoided by dashing several times. -Electric shock: caused by Electricity based attacks; it disables some features like the lock-on system, compass (or mini map if I can figure out how to show it) and special weapons, it will disappear after some time. I still have to figure out what status could the laser attribute induce, any ideas? Are there any other ailments you would like to see?

I have one basic idea for how to improve the game. You know those symbols in the corner of Yuna and Sera's health bars? Make them different from each other. That way you can quickly differentiate between the two.

On the topic of laser's status ailments, I suggest either Optic Failure or Stun. Logical due to realistically being blinding in nature, or the energy from the beams surging through the Mother Units' systems.

I was thinking it could be a bit easier to divide the weapons up into four categories: Melee, heavy special weapons, light special weapons and utility(tools). The heavy special weapons being the ones you can't fire while moving. Light special weapons being the weapons you can fire on the run. Melee would be the sword and drill, maybe the shield to if you could hit with it. Utility(tool) being the other weapons that don't do any damage. Also had the idea of being able to wield the sword and shield at the same time but I don't want to make things more complicated for you.

I have one basic idea for how to improve the game. You know those symbols in the corner of Yuna and Sera's health bars? Make them different from each other. That way you can quickly differentiate between the two. I'm actually planning on redesigning the health bars, I'll put some sketches later, I want them to be a bit simpler and small, maybe I'll put the girl's portraits to differentiate them or I'll end up using the figures on their dresses as I was going to do in the beginning. On the topic of laser's status ailments, I suggest either Optic Failure or Stun. Logical due to realistically being blinding in nature, or the energy from the beams surging through the Mother Units' systems. I like both ideas, I think I'll go with the stunt option, sounds a bit more interesting, any good idea for the name of how to eliminate the ailment? I was thinking it could be a bit easier to divide the weapons up into four categories: Melee, heavy special weapons, light special weapons and utility(tools). The heavy special weapons being the ones you can't fire while moving. Light special weapons being the weapons you can fire on the run. Melee would be the sword and drill, maybe the shield to if you could hit with it. Utility(tool) being the other weapons that don't do any damage. Also had the idea of being able to wield the sword and shield at the same time but I don't want to make things more complicated for you. Actually, Sera will be able to fire certain heavy weapons while moving, Yuna will not be able to do the same but she will have more control and agility with light weapons, so I guess it would make sense to label them as you describe for easier organization, it would be cool to be able to equip two special weapons at the same time so I guess I'll leave the choice to the player. How about equipping them on both arms? That way one would be able to use the blade arm and the shield at the same time! I gotta make some kind of diagram for this. Let me read your idea anyway! Maybe I can figure out how to do it or I would make something similar if I can't.

I'm thinking Stun would only linger for three to five seconds, so waiting it out would be enough of a solution. On the topic of dual weapons, I have some suggestions. If the player has two weapons, they cannot grab edges or lift objects unless one is a glove such as the Crusher or Hunter Seeker, and the weapons cannot be fired simultaneously if they have conflicting firing animations. I also have a few ideas for weapons if you're ever interested in hearing them.

I'll accept submissions for special weapons and reaverbots eventually, once I'm able to actually work on modeling and programming again but you are free to share your concepts or sketches anyway, I'll check them out! IMPORTANT NEWS The Master System's Amistal Build is now available for download now on Sky Pirate Arcade! As you may remember, I've released the latest test build some time ago, but it was only available on my Dropbox folder, I've asked fAB to update the page with the latest build and he kindly accepted. This build features a new code written from scratch to make the project easier to work with, allowing to create more code to change the size of the window or remapping the controls for example. It also features a new dynamic camera, with collision detection and a modern free rotating mode, and some other stuff I can't remember right now XP Feel free to test it out if you haven't already or play it again if you wish. As always, any bug or glitch you encounter can be reported here, any suggestions or problems as well Download here: arcade.legends-station.com/?sp=mastersystemThanks for your support!

Hey everybody! It turns out that this past Sunday marked the fifth year of development for the game, I did not have time to properly announce you but here I am now! I've been working on something else since I can't keep programming or making 3d models, and that's music making, I never tried making music before but I thought I could learn how to do so just as I've learned 3d modeling and programming by myself, all thanks to the Internet. Anyway, I've just finished a small piece that would be used as soundtrack for the game, I would like to ask you to listen to it and tell me what do you think. Here it is: youtu.be/Ndv3e9OhOEIThe song is called "A.U.R.A. dungeon #1" A.U.R.A. stands for "Anthro Unit Restricted Area" if you're wondering. This song would be used for the game's first main ruin, I think I screwed up the mid section but I like the mysterious tone I tried to communicate with the slow pace and echoing sounds. As I've said before, this is my first attempt at composing so I will tweak the song until I'm satisfied with the result. The software used to make the song is an android app called "RD4" (yay for the smartphones and their endless utilities!) Please let me know what I did ok or wrong with the song so I can improve my skills and give the video a thumbs up if you liked my first attempt. Thank you for reading!

Yay! I admire self-taught people. I also tend to pursue new things on my own, but I'm usually too shy to publish my beginner results, so I give props to you! I can imagine this music playing in a Legends-style dungeon. Something about the part with the... Chord arpeggio thing (which begins around 0:24) reminds me of Nino Ruins (probably because of the sound of the instrument used). I think the main melody's instrument is a bit weird (it reminds me of a car sound in an Atari game! ), but aside from that, I like the other sounds and effects. I also agree that the song gives a mysterious feel. It kind of reminds me of this. I don't know if these were intentional, but I think the said arpeggio thing could be pushed a little bit forward in time. And I feel that the bit with the three short notes playing in quick succession (at around 0:43) could be pulled a bit backward. Now, a little about my own beginner results . I'm trying to teach myself a way to notate music that works with screen readers, and the simplest way I found was to use ABC notation, since it's just normal text. As an exercise, I tried to transcribe your song! I've finished the ABC, and also have the MIDI file generated from it, as rendered by ABC2MIDI (on Linux). Like I said, it's a music notation beginner's result, and I don't know if it's correct. Still, would you want it?

I agree. The main melody instrument is weird, but the rest of the song is good.

You may remember I've made a special suit for Yuna based on Matilda's reporter suit, here she is if you have forgotten how she looks like: Then I thought it would be a cool idea to give Sera a similar outfit, here's a simple sketch I've done today: The suit is based on Kattelox's reporter aka "reporter sunshine" as nicknamed by HF. I'll be sketching some of my concept ideas but if you have any cool ideas for alternate outfits let me hear them! By the way, I've realized I'm not so very good at music making so I will not work too often on it.

I really like the concept for that Yuna skin. I also got to say that that model looks really sharp! Good luck!
