Personal Message: Yes I am indeed writing two stories at the same time. This time around will be a true sequal to the original Iron Megaman. I intend it to be set in the movie-verse again. I know I started the Transformer cross-over but that failed me. However, I may go back sometime and finish it up as well as Casket. Another thing I want to point out to my fan-fic fans is that I will be revising all of my works over time. I am knowledgeable more now than I ever was. I believe it has come to the time to revize even my oldest stuff and possibly add chapters to fill in some plot holes. May even revize whole chapters, I'm not even sure yet. Those of you who follow Forever Trigger know what I'm talking about as I have already revized the first two chapters and added a great deal of detail to the third. I hope you enjoy my works and thanks for the support. _ |/ragge

Chapter 1
"You can't even feel the wind in this thing Roll!" I shouted over the open link. "I think you've finally outdone yourself!" That's why Roll was my spotter and weapon development expert. She had taken a complex piece of machinery and reverse-engineered it all. Now I'm flying in a new and more powerful suit capable of more than I could have ever imagined.
About six months ago I had fallen into another universe. One so amazing, so different, and yet, so similar to ours. People were always busy with their everyday lives. The same goes on here, but honestly it's not as bad. This universe showed me the true evils that can lie dormant within a person. It also spoke to me that no dimension is rid of evil. I met a person there truly terrible and ready to rule two dimensions. He was captured in the end and that was the end of that.
Also my life was changed there. I was hit with shrapnel and most was taken out but some remained. Once I came back, expert doctors were able to operate on me and get rid of the rest. Now the arc reactor doesn't power an electromagnet that kept the shrapnel away. Now it powers the suit in which I'm piloting.
"Roll, I spot the Flutter off in the distance. I'm coming in for a landing!" The suit has intense reaction timing. In an instant I was in the sky heading toward the Flutter and the next I dropped like a stone to the ground literally two feet away from Roll.
She shrieked with horror as she thought I was about to land on her. How funny it was. The helmet that surrounded my head folded away into the top of the spinal column piece of the armor. While this armor was similar to the Iron Man armor, it had it's own features as well. It resembled my original armor of years past only a tad bulkier in order to fit all of the necessary parts and weapons. The helmet was of my own design. It looked almost like the shape of a wolf from far away. I also had it built to fold away into the top of the spinal column when it wasn't needed. The heads up display was red and formed together into a V right above the mouth plate.
"So Roll, what do you think of the armor?" I asked her. I swear she's been running test after test just to make sure the armor works in top notch condition. She's tested every last thing on this armor from defense and flight capabilities to weapon and electronics.
"I think we should just go with one more test in defense while in flight. I'm just not one-hundred percent sure about the armor." Roll looked over at me with that worried look on her face. Her golden hair blew in the air as we stared each other down for a minute. "Well?"
I sighed as I started up the armor's repulsor fueled thrusters and took to the sky. Roll had a tank cannon set up to fire at me as I stayed still in the air and took the hits. I readied myself as the cannon powered up to fire. I heard the cannon fire and flinched as the shell came toward me, but it never hit me. Instead I felt myself fall straight to the ground and tumble a few feet. I never knew what hit me until I looked up.
"Megaman, I need your help and Stark is completely out of it." The armored figure spoke to me. It took me a second to realize who it was at first but then I recognized the voice and armor color scheme.
"Rhodey! What's happening?" I asked as we walked over to each other and shook hands. "Why does your armor look different?"
"Long story short, the first was a prototype and I scrapped it on purpose. I was forced to wear this and take it to the U.S. Air Force. Switched it around and now it looks like this. Anyway I need your help." I could tell by his voice that he wasn't joking around. Then again Rhodey was a serious man.
"What's wrong my friend? Come with me and we'll talk about it." The face plate on the War-Machine armor snapped open and I got a glimpse at the look on his face.
"We've got another threat and Stark isn't suitable to fight by my side this time. He's been drinking very heavily and can't think straight. That's why I came to you Megaman. Even though you're still young, I can trust you by my side, especially in a very powerful suit of armor. Will you help me out?"
We walked a few more feet and stopped in front of Roll who had a quizzical look. "Megaman, what are you doing? You know the armor isn't fully tested yet!"
I knew she was right. Even though I was tired of testing, it was important that every glitch is found before putting it to full use. I didn't have the time to do that this round through. "Roll, please get my other armor and load it into the suitcase."
"Already done!" she said pleased with herself. She pulled out a blue suitcase from one of the storage compartments under the Flutter. The case was blue and looked mechanical. "Stark came to me about a month ago and gave me design sketches for a portable armor. I took the design from your normal armor and put it into this. When you need it, just throw it on the ground, kick it open, and the rest will go from there. I also packed in a machine buster with it just in case. Whatever you need to do, good luck."
"Thanks." I took the suitcase out of her hand and got ready to fly off with Rhodey then paused for a second. "Do you want to come along with me this time Roll?" She screamed with glee and I picked her up in the other arm and together the three of us headed for Stark's universe and Malibu, California.

Chapter 2
We all traveled through the portal that, at one time transported the reaverbots here, allowed us to travel through different dimensions. We showed up in Stark's basement lab which looked a little different. I noticed a spot for six different suits of armor. Two of them were missing. One of course was now what Rhodey donned. The other is just missing.
"So, you decided to stoop this low, did you Rhodey?" came a slurred yet familiar voice from the shadows. "You just couldn't handle the fact that three people were in possession of this type of armor and thought to get rid of one."
"Tony, settle down. You're drunk and you need to get out of that suit!" I watched closely as Rhodey inched his way toward Tony. Tony had the face plate open and I saw his bloodshot eyes and dizzy appearance. He stood there not making a move. Rhodey got over to Tony and placed one hand on the armor's bicep region. Tony fired the all-powerful uni-beam from the center repulsor which I then noticed was triangular in appearance.
He was really going to fight and my concern turned to Roll. "Roll, get out of here!" The helmet closed around my head and I turned back to Stark and... Where did Rhodey go? I then spotted the armor clad man over to one side of the room knocked out. "You don't want to do this Stark! Someone might seriously get hurt." The face plate on Stark's armor closed and he blitzed me.
We shot through the ceiling and into what looked like the exercise room. Tony let go of his grip on me and I flew back toward the boxing ring. With the training I've had with the armor, I fixed myself upright instantly and grabbed hold of a barbell with nothing on it. Tony landed in front of me and I swung hard with the metal. I heard the bar connect with the suit and saw that it did little damage.
He started again and I jetted myself up over him to the other side. I spun the bar like a double bladed sword and went in for another strike. I missed by an inch and it was my first mistake. Tony grabbed hold of the bar and swung it and myself away from him. Stark knows what he's doing. He's been in control of the armor for far longer than I have been.
I rushed over to Tony and he threw a dumbbell at me and the eye covering started to crack. I really wish I had listened to Roll. I started firing my repulsor blasters from the palm of my hands. I saw Stark recoil from the shots but he wouldn't back down. Then I saw Rhodes come up from down below and wrap Stark in a bear hug. "Give it up Tony!"
Stark grabbed Rhodes by the arm and flung him at me. We fell to the ground in a metal mess. Both of us got up and agreed to fire at the same time. Before we started though Tony held up the back of both hands. There was a device on there that started to glow and whir. "Megaman, duck!" Rhodey shouted.
I did what he required and I saw why. Tony had fired dual lasers that cut through everything in the room. Just like Juno. I need to stop thinking about fighting Tony and more on fighting reaverbots. I ran over to Tony and, as he prepped a shot, I jumped into the air and fired down upon him. Rhodey came in behind me and fired his machine guns. The armor started receiving minor dents, but nothing major appeared.
Then a thought came into my mind and I pointed both of my repulsor lasers at each other and allowed the pressure between them grow to intense levels. Then I fired the shot at Tony and after that was just a bright light that blinded me for a minute. When I came to I noticed Rhodey stripping Stark of his armor. "Jarvis, why didn't you shut him down?"
"I'm sorry sir but Mr. Stark locked me out of the armor's systems." Rhodey looked over to me and held out an open hand. "You okay man?"
I held my head into my hand as pain grew like a forest fire. "I really don't know. That was a pretty risky move to take. What's done is done though and Tony has been subdued." I lowered myself into the basement and told Roll it was okay to step out. She sprinted to me and threw her arms around me, her eyes wet with tears. I removed my helmet and she gasped at what she saw.
I noticed the blood too on my face in the area Tony hit me earlier. I looked at the heads up display location and noticed just how smashed in it was. She buried her head into my armor and sobbed, "I told you it still needed more testing!" I nodded and held her close.
The pitter patter of foot steps got my attention away from Roll and Pepper Potts was standing there staring in awe. "Again?! Megaman, what happened?"
"Tony went on a drunken rampage. He thought that Rhodey was replacing him with myself. Please take Roll into a guest room. I'll help Rhodey with whatever he needs and I'll meet you up there later." Pepper nodded and took off with Roll. I grabbed and my head again and hoped that something serious wouldn't rise up because of this.

I had a feeling you'd do the drunken brawl bit- that was one of the crazier parts of the movie. I like how you deviated from its original conclusion. Ouch... it looks pretty bad, if it's just a flesh wound, the worst Megaman could expect would be momentary bleeding followed by temporary disorientation (had that kind of pain myself, a few years back), but if this wound is worse than that.... Well, dramatics always help: there isn't much of a story if things don't go wrong from time to time. I like what I'm reading, thus far. Hope to see more in the future.

Chapter 3
My eyes opened and I noticed the familiar medical room that I was in last time. What happened to me? I swear last thing I remember was Pepper taking Roll up to one of the guests rooms and then... Then what? I can't remember anything after that. "Jarvis!"
"Yes sir?" came Jarvis's electronically humanized voice.
"What happened to me after the fight?"
"You suffered major head trauma, sir. The hit on your cranium did some internal damage. It should heal though as I found nothing life threatening."
"Thank you Jarvis." I slid out of the bed and I noticed that someone had replaced my armor and put me into some casual clothing. I walked over to the bathroom and walked up to the sink. I took a look in the mirror and for the first time noticed that a bandage covered the left side of my head. Despite all I know about injury recovery, I took off the bandage and saw where Tony had done his damage. It was right there around my eye that I noticed the major bruising and bleeding.
I heard the door open and I hurriedly wrapped my bandage. "Who is it?" I shouted.
I looked over and saw Roll walk into the bathroom with tears in her eyes. I took small steps over to her and put my arms tightly around her. Wait a minute... why did I take small nimble steps? I felt some sort of force hindering my movement. Whatever it was, it's not important. I looked down at Roll's soft, beautiful, blond hair. I lifted my right arm up and stroked it softly.
"Roll, I'm okay. You don't need to worry about things. I'll be fine." Roll couldn't find any words as she continued to sob. I pulled away gently from her and I worked my way back over to the bed and pulled the covers up over my body as I put my head down on the pillow. I watched as Roll sat down in a chair right across from my line of vision. She cried for at least another couple of minutes.
"Megaman," she said through her last remaining tears, "I thought you had died. Jarvis said that hit was enough to kill a person on contact. I'm so glad you're alright!" She jumped out of the seat and over to my bedside. She hugged me to the best of my abilities and didn't let go. I could tell she loved me. In what way I wasn't sure. We knew that we weren't brother and sister, but as to whether or not she loved me in the sense of a marriage relationship I had no idea.
I let my eyes close for only a second. It wasn't until later that I awoke again to find Rhodey and Pepper in the room as well. "How are you doing hot shot?" Rhodey asked.
"I still have a deep throbbing in my head where Stark hit me. There's still some bleeding going on, but it's not as big as when it was when he smashed my armor in." Rhodey held out a hand and I took hold. It wasn't really a shake but just confirmation that he understood. "So, where's Stark? I want to talk with him."
Pepper nodded at Rhodey and together they helped me out of the bed. The four of us proceeded to Stark's bedroom and that's when I split from them. I had to talk to Tony alone. I walked in and marveled at the sight of the Pacific Ocean going on forever against the sun's rays. Stark was at a desk that must have been added since my last visit. He was passed out with his head slumped on the top of the desk. I noticed a brownish bottle in his hand and noticed the label read 'liquor' on it.
I gently shook Stark by the shoulders to wake him up. He looked over at me in a mindless daze. "Megaman, how long have you been here?" I knew then that he remembered nothing from the previous day's fight. "What up with the head gear?"
I lost all control over my next reactions. I slapped him hard across the cheek. "What's wrong with you Tony!" I shouted. "Look at yourself! You've become a person that doesn't define you! You are the world famous Iron Man and here you are, sitting at home, sucking down on a bottle of this liquor! From what I've read, that crap messes with your mind if you consume too much! With great power comes great responsibility Stark! You don't have that responsible attitude!"
I was fuming and I couldn't cool down. I felt my anger, for the man that saved my life twice, rise to unreachable heights. I turned around for a second then came back at him. "How could you waste away yourself like this?! People rely on you to be there when they call for Iron Man! You and he are one Stark! Get this through your thick skull! You want to know what's up with this head gear?" I unwrapped the bandages that concealed my wounds.
I placed my hands on both arms of Stark's swivel chair and shoved my face right into his. "You did this to me yesterday," I explained to him in a more subtle tone. "You went on a drunken rampage yesterday in your armor. Rhodey came to me for help against a large threat. I didn't expect you to be part of that threat."
Stark hadn't tried to say anything the whole time I talked. I could see a look of remorse in his eyes. I backed off and sat on the edge of his bed. I slid my head into my hands and sighed. "I know you're not that threat, but now I see why Rhodey came to me in the first place. You can't be trusted like you once were."
I stood up and walked back over to the door. As I twisted the knob I heard Stark speak to me. "I don't know what to say to all of that Megaman. I'm sorry, I guess." I looked over and saw him start to lift the glass bottle up to his lips. I performed a simple kick and sent the bottle crashing against the wall opposite of us.
"No more Stark. When you stop for good, I'll be able to give you my complete trust again." I opened the door and walked out shutting it as I stepped into the hallway. Rhodey needed my help fighting against whatever threat was coming up against him. Neither of them were there so I started over to the living room. I fell only a few feet from the door of Stark's room and was completely paralyzed for a minute. I got back up and continued to the living room.
I noticed Rhodey, Pepper, and Roll sitting on the semi-circular couch. "Rhodey, whatever this threat is, I'll help you defeat it." He looked upon me with gratitude and told me that he was glad to here that. I took a spot next to Roll on the couch and laid my head on her lap and listened as the television droned on.

Chapter 4
"So Megaman, do you think you're ready to fight this threat I've been speaking of?" Rhodey asked me. All of us were in the remains of Tony's weight room. We heard nothing from him since I left his room after our talk. My guess would be that he had another cache of liquor hidden under his bed or something.
Rhodey stood a good ten feet from me in Tony's boxing ring. He told me that he was going to test my maneuverability and the armor's strength. He still hadn't told me exactly what this enemy was or what functions they possessed. All Rhodey had told me thus far was that something was on the horizon. It took me only a second to answer Rhodey's question, "Yes, I believe I am."
He looked at me with through the red eyes of the War Machine armor. "Very good. I want you to show me what you've got then. I've seen you fight before, but you're testing a new armor that hardly made it through all of its testings. Now, bring it on." We circled each other slowly in the ring, neither of us wanting to make the first move. I saw his head turn from my attention to ahead of him and that's when I sprung into action.
I went for a shot to the back, but he stepped out of my attack range and tripped me up from behind. The landing was rough, but I had been through worse. I pushed myself and performed a back flip in order to gain a little distance. "Don't forget, everyone has their peripheral vision too. They can see you coming from their side."
I straightened my posture and held out my arms parallel to the ground ready to fire at Rhodey. I felt the energy flow through the suit and watched as Rhodey took flight. If that's how he wanted it, that's what he was going to get. I activated the suit's flight abilities and took after Rhodey and before I knew it, we were flying out over the ocean. Rhodey wasn't going to let back out here. He started firing his dual machine guns that hung to his lower arms and I started to execute every spin I could think of.
I eventually caught up to him and grabbed hold of his armor. I started punching the torso area and he went for my head. The throbbing pain from Stark's hit came back and I brushed it aside immediately. I still thought nothing of it: just a minor headache. I continued my onslaught just to show Rhodey that I still had what it took and that the armor was up to code. I saw his fist come near my head and...
What is this, water? What am I doing down here? I looked up and saw Rhodey flying toward me. Over an open link he called out, "Megaman, are you alright?" I signaled a thumbs up as he continued to talk, "Let's get you back to the house man, you're in no condition to be flying or even piloting a suit. I tried to ignite my boosters but the water shorted out most of my armor's systems. Rhodey held out a hand and I took hold as he flew both of us back to the house.
I watched Roll run over to me without delay. "Megaman, what's wrong? Everything was fine and then you dropped like a boulder." I actually had trouble hearing her and asked her to say that again. I opened my helmet in hopes that it would help. Unfortunately I heard her but only by a little more.
I didn't know what to do. I dropped to the floor and started shaking, tears rolled down my face as I had no idea what was going on with my body. "Roll, I'm having a hard time hearing anything. I need medical attention." I let the helmet fold itself back in with the rest of my armor and I tried to stand but fell to the ground again. Rhodey was there though and together they walked me to the small medical room Tony kept in his house.
"I fear things are worse than before, Megaman," Jarvis explained. "I over-looked some details earlier and now I have a full report. Apparently when Tony hit you with that barbell, it did some damage to your retina. In fact you're lucky to have even survived that shot. Now with your retina in the position it is, you're receiving intense headaches that make you blackout when you act strenuously. As for your hearing loss, I found it just to be a small side-effect to the headaches. I suggest that you take it easy for about two weeks."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, my hearing did improve as we walked down here, there was no way I was going to not help Rhodey with this threat. "I can't quit, not now! Rhodey needs my help and I'm not going to stop!"
"Please settle down, Megaman!" Pepper told me.
"No!!" I shouted. "I have no intention of settling down!" I fell to my knees then got back up. "I am here on the request of that man right there and I plan to carry out his request."
Rhodey got to his feet, "It's okay, I can handle this by myself."
"Don't give me any of that lone gunslinger crap Rhodey. I will help you, whether it kills me or not." I walked out of the room with no one following me. The wooden walls of the hallway looked beautiful. For once I actually looked at my surroundings again. I hadn't really taken the time to settle down like Pepper had said. Now I did and I walked throughout the house looking at the different rooms Tony had. The last room I stopped in was the kitchen and that was only to pick up a coffee.
I walked to the guest room that Roll and I shared. It was a beautiful shade of light blue and contained two beds and two full bathrooms. There were separate closets and dressers for clothing. I then looked back at the color of the walls: blue. It's just like the color of my armor. It also resembles compassion and kindness. Those are two features that, as of lately, I've lost. I normally am that way, but since coming here again, I've lost my sense of kindness. I even yelled at Pepper for crying out loud. She didn't even do anything to me.
I walked over to my bed and sat the coffee on the side table Roll and I shared then turned my head toward the window which, like Tony's, overlooked the ocean. Just the view of the waves crashing down below brought an inner peace to me. I touched the window to amplify the sounds from outside. "Tears came to me again. "They're so beautiful." I heard someone walk in and close the door. The figure sat down and from the gentle touch I could tell that it was Roll.
"Megaman, is there something you want to say?" I nodded my head but words couldn't form from my throat. I cried some more and Roll held me close to her. She was the only person there that knew what I felt. We've been together for so long that we almost didn't need to see the look on our faces to know the other was in a certain state of mind.
"I gave Rhodey my word, Roll. I cannot give up now. I have to strengthen myself to fight away the pain when it comes up. I won't let him down like Stark has."
Roll kissed my left cheek, the side that wasn't resting on my pillow, and reassured me, "You're different from Tony though. You don't drink heavily and abuse the armor. I know Jarvis said to take it easy, but I know you Megaman. Even in your toughest hour, you never gave up. You saved Kattelox and then more importantly, the world. You usually listen to what's best for you. In this situation I believe you should turn from what people tell you and follow your heart.
I didn't know what to say. Her sweet voice rang in my ears like a heavenly choir. She kissed me again and left the room. Even though it was still only seven p.m., I fell asleep in my bed.

Chapter 5
My dreams spoke to me that night. Old memories played through my mind as I slept peacefully. My dreams took me through numerous digs from years past before my memories were restored to me on the Sulpher Bottom. My mind recalled every battle from the crash land on Kattelox up to the destructive battle with Geetz. Then came the memories afterward with the fight against the four ruins guardians all over again and then the final fight with Sera.
I woke up to a bright morning with some large fluffy clouds hanging in the sky. I stretched my arms above my head and looked over to the bed beside mine. Roll was still sleeping pleasantly and I didn't want to disturb her, so I quietly walked out of the room and made my way to Tony's kitchen.
The kitchen was large and contained all of the newest appliances. Surprisingly enough I spotted Tony sitting at the round table with his head in the daily newspaper. "Good morning Tony," I spoke. He set down the paper and glanced at me with a smile on his face.
"Good morning Megaman. Did you sleep well last night?"
"I sure did, in fact I feel a freshness to myself this morning. I hadn't been acting like I normally do and yesterday evening brought me back to my normal personality. I've been over-reacting to a lot lately and I've cooled off now. How are you doing with your heavy drinking problem?"
Stark looked over at me again and stared me straight in the face this time. "Let's just say that I'm not ready for you guys to trust me yet again. I drank a lot yesterday after you left and passed out on my bed. I've heard the medical reports of you from Jarvis and realize just how bad I hit you across the face the other day. I truly apologize for that. I've put you in a world of hurt, but honestly, I've seen how you can get back up from getting knocked down and keep fighting. I advise you to not quit fighting even with your injury."
"Don't you do what's best for y..." I cut myself off there as I remembered that Tony doesn't always do what's best for him. I was glad to see that someone here, other than Roll, supported me in my quest to not give up. I nodded and walked over to the stove. I noticed that Tony hadn't tried to cook up anything yet so I opened the refrigerator and found some eggs to scramble. He also had a fresh supply of bread and some bacon located in the kitchen. Once I got all of my supplies together, I got started.
About half an hour later everyone was sitting down around the table. I was finished with breakfast and gave everyone an equal share. I even served each of them milk and coffee. I sat down myself and, before anyone got started, I offered an apology to them. "I have to apologize to each and every one of you guys. I've been acting rudely to you all since I've gotten here. I forgot what it was like to be myself and live in my own universe. I know how most of you have advised me to stop stressing out lately and that includes using my armor, but I have a duty to attend to. I know what's best for me and I've been through worse pain before. I'm sorry for the way my behavior's been and I promise that I won't act that way again."
Pepper had a smile on her face as she stated, "Thank you for that Megaman. I'm sorry myself, I shouldn't have told you what you can and can't do. You are your own person and I can't tell you what your actions will be. Rhodey may not be here but I can vouch for him as I believe he'd say the same thing if he were here."
I heard footsteps coming from the hall and saw Rhodey walking in with his Air Force uniform on. "I would and I am. Sorry Megaman for trying to force you to settle you down for a couple of weeks. I'm not here for long as I have to get back to base later, but I need to show you something Megaman."
Rhodey walked over to the table and set a couple of pictures on the table. I looked in awe and horror as I saw the threat that Rhodey had spoken of. A Caucasian man in a harness connected to plasma whips was devastating buildings around him. The surrounding area didn't look like the United States. The area looked run down and snow blanketed the ground.
"Who is this?" I asked Rhodey.
"His name is Ivan Vanko. We've given him the code name Whiplash. His whips are extremely deadly and are know to burn through most materials. These pictures were taken just yesterday in Russia. This, Megaman, is our threat. I'll leave the pictures to you. I need to get going. I'll see you guys soon." Rhodey left professionally.
"Tony, I need some more testing and I want you to be there testing my armor and it's capabilities. Rhodey is gone now and no one else here knows how to pilot the armor on their own. I'm not really sure if Jarvis knows how to work one, but we really shouldn't test it just now."
Tony finished his breakfast and gave me a reassuring nod. "I'll help you anyway possible Megaman. Suit up in the lab and we'll get ready to go." I smiled as big as possible to show my enthusiasm and excused myself from the table. It was time to work myself harder than ever before.
