Sometimes when I get on here pages will load but then a bow pops up saying operation aborted then says that something happened with the page connection. This has been happening to me often even when I'm not logged on. Then I have to take the time to click the back button and try it again. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. If you've encountered this problem please respond. Maybe it's just me, but this has happened on the my school's computer as well.

macbooks are my best friends! The one I'm using at my school right now hasn't given me any problems.
BTW: This is my art class's mac.

I haven't had any issues with it. There are a number of things it could be, but if you happen to be using Internet Explorer that could be the issue.

That's probably it. The mac I'm using I go onto safari for the net.

Then I'd say it's almost definitely Internet Explorer that has the issue. Just use any other web browser, seriously ANY other browser works, and you'll be fine.

That is quite peculiar. From the beginning of this year, I also received the same problem. The message I received was: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site mmls.proboards.com (insert link). Operation aborted". I had to copy-and-paste the link a few times before I could actually view the page properly. It didn't matter if I was logged in or not, I would receive this problem. Like I said, I found this very strange. I was using Internet Explorer all these years, and only started to get this problem early this year...

Yeah, the current version of IE has been working well for me everywhere except these specific forums.
Now I just open up Safari when I want to check in here. It's less of an inconvenience than constantly hitting Back until the errors decide to take a break.

Yeah, no reason to use IE. I used to be a firefox guy but then Chrome added some features and remained faster than FF so I switched. If you're really a big safari fan though, you can download safari for windows!
