I just got the art book in the mail, and looked through it a million times. Does anyone here know enough japanese to translate sections of it? It would be cool to post it here in english. I checked out this site for legal advice. It seems like a translation would be okay, as long as it was for free and not being sold. Post #6 is very similar to what I'm talking about here. www.librarycopyright.net/wordpress/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=1466

Don't have to know japanese. Scan it in. Find on OCR program that supports asian characters (I'd start here: bit.ly/3WPIp ) Use Google Translate for your result.

That can be very tricky and inaccurate, but I'd go for it if you got the time.
It's possible to commission translators if you're serious about it. I'd go about it that way, seeing as this can be a lot of hard work. People don't become educated and well versed in foreign languages just so they can do people favors.
Regarding the book, I'd love to see what it has to say about the Halcyon era, how much they fleshed it out and stuff like that.

Yes, I have approximately Level-2 Proficiency in the language, and have used it for some translation work (personal) every now and then. Though I may make some careless mistakes, I am confident that I am up for this task (only limitation is time).
I am also capable of using Photoshop which can help clean up text for the translations.
