I could put the link but it´s in spanish ;D which characters do you think they will be?

I would really prefer it to be the X-Series Zero, as he's never been in a fighting game yet. I personally prefer his design over the MMZ one as well.

The characters names were left in the JP site's HTML source or something, so we now know who the characters are. From Capcom, we have Frank West, and Zero, And from Tatsunoko, we have Joe the Condor, Yatterman-2, and Tekkaman Blade. And no Tron Bonne... ;_;

I don't know why it was just assumed to be the Megaman Zero version of Zero, but if it does turn out to be him, I will buy the game in an instant.

Are there any screenies of the new chars available? There's been no official announcement yet, so I don't think so. The information we have came from filenames only.

Pffhaha. I wonder if someone got fired over that. @buster Cannon: For real? I thought male stripper Zero was a definite improvement on tranny Zero. But that's just my opinion. Plus, Frank West? Ballsy addition to the roster. I'm too lazy to check, but are there any Resident Evil characters?

No Resident Evil characters, which kind of surprised me. I can't dig it up, but I was reading a list that had the characters the project lead wanted in the game before licensing restrictions reared their ugly heads. Characters "Leon" and "Tyrant" were there, who I believe are both Resident Evil. I'm personally kind of hoping for X-series Zero, for 2 reasons: A) I've never played Zero. B) As far as I can remember no Megaman X character has ever been in a crossover game, and Capcom's done a lot. My personal grief: No Speed Racer still? D:

You must play the Megaman Zero series of games! They are my favorite Megaman series, even above Megaman Legends. Great plot, great gameplay, great music... they are almost perfect in every way.

Huh. I thought I was the only one here who enjoyed the Zero series even more than Legends. They're just utter perfection. I'll never understand how or why those games are so overlooked. You should really download some roms or something, Heat.
But you have a point. X series' Zero hasn't really made an appearance in any crossover games thus far. It'd be kinda cool to see the original Zero again.

Now that I think about it, maybe we got enough HEY HA HUAA without Zero in a fighting game, but that's besides the point. XD
Anyways, I had no idea that opinions of the Zero series were so high around here. I keep seeing the GBA carts used for really low prices, so maybe I'll try and pick one up some time.

I used to like MMZ until the newer games, when Zero isn't the playable character, then i played fetch with my dog using the box.

The ZX series isn't part of the Zero series. But I agree, it sucks. Heat, if you're gonna pick one up, start with the first one. The series is heavy on continuity (unlike Classic and X) so unless you're fine with not knowing wtf is going on I wouldn't pick one out at random. And yeah... No Speed Racer? Wtf? That would have been my first guess for Tatsunoko characters.

Yeah, the ZX series is separate. I liked the second game's gameplay very much, but the story and music of both games sucked in my opinion.
If you care about the story, you should definatly start with Zero 1, even though it is one of the harder titles in the series. Some tips: always load from save after death, or else you'll be out of continues when it comes time for the final boss and the other truly difficult ones. Never give up a mission, either. Make good use of the elemental chips, and if you are having trouble, search the levels for cyber elves and upgrade yourself.
Megaman Zero is the game that judges your skill level. If you can beat it, you can beat the other three. Even the hardest game, Zero 4 (it has an easy mode, but ignore that). Of course, I've beat Zero 1 with all 'A' rank, so we know where MY skill level is at *smiles the size and shape of Florida creeps over face*.
Also, why don't I want to see the original series Zero? Because of all the X series games he playable in, only a few were actually good. X4 is the best (or at least second best) MX game, and Zero plays a large part in it. X5 is also good, but not quite up to the level of 1 or 4. X6 is a terrible game, X7 is only slightly better, and X8 is slightly worse than X7 but still better than X6. Megaman Xtreme 2 is a good game, but Zero isn't fun to play as in that, and Zero is barely playable at all in Megaman X3. Oh, and don't get me started on frickin' Command Mission.
