As a few of you might have noticed, I didn't always write Legends series fanfiction. When I was but a wee ten year old, I started out writing Kirby, before proceeding to spend the majority of my years writing Sonic SatAM based fanfiction. However, all of that turned out terrible despite efforts.
But one thing that I was suprisingly good at was writing short humor stories, many of which became popular with my friends at school. So I decided to make this my focus, and looked for a television show that was funny enough to be worth writing fanfiction for, but new enough so that my writing might get noticed. Enter Kappa Mikey, hit Nick Toon and subject of my almost award winning fanfiction, "Snarkymen Fever"
Snarkymen Fever - www.fanfiction.net/s/3682718/1/Snarkymen_Fever
Description: When Mitsuki loses her precious Mr. Featherbottom doll, the LilyMu gang search for it and accidently stumble into a Poke'mon parody! Guano is also missing, but no one seems to notice. Rated PG, for some crude humor and brief mild language.
My first attempt at a lengthy humor fic turned out suprisingly well, if the high hit count and numerous reviews are to be believed. Seeing that I was onto something with this Kappa Mikey gig, I decided to start on a more ambitious project. Instead of merely writing an episode of the show, I would write a MOVIE. The result?
Hit In The USA- www.fanfiction.net/s/4573269/1/Hit_In_the_USA
Description: The LilyMu uncut DVD's have finally been released in America, and the success of the series prompts Ozu to book the cast to various anime convention hosted in the country. A continent spanning adventure for the ages ensues. Rated PG13, for brief violence, some suggestive content, crude humor, and brief strong language.
With this story, which recieved well over one thousand hits and fourty six reviews, I felt I had reached my pinnical for writing humor, at least in the Kappa Mikey realm. More than anything else I've completed so far, I am proud of this story and everything it accomplished; over twenty thousand words and 16 chapters is no small feet. But, as a spur of the momment thing, I did write one more humor story, based on a Cartoon Network this time:
Voltar V.S. The Toastar- www.fanfiction.net/s/5029668/1/Voltar_VS_The_Toastar
Description:When Voltar accidently destroys the League's toaster, Dr. Frogg is forced to create a new one less he lose out on his morning toast. But his new robotic creation, "Toastar", finds it would rather burn the league than bread. Rated PG, for some crude humor.
This story, based on The League Of Super Evil, would be the last fic I wrote before migrating back to the realm of serious fanfiction. As all of you are no doubt aware, the next story I began was titled Legends 3: Endgame, and there is a separate topic in this forum for discussion of it.
Thank you for coming along with me on this trip through memory lane, and I hope you'll give these three fics a chance. All are extremely hilarious, if you are into the random humor both shows are known for.
