Please, someone tell me this song is a parody of how little sense the rap scene makes. I mean, the dance just looks like you're trying to rub crap off the bottom of your shoe, and the ebonics utilized throughout the lyrics seems highly random and fabricated. And what's shocking is that everyone I know keeps telling me it's totally serious.
If it is, I honestly don't know what to say to that.

I know what she's talking about to some extent, but I agree that it looks really stupid. I think it is serious, too, which doesn't help at all. This is why I'm not into pop culture...

Wow. I watched about a minute of it and closed the out of disgust. What's scarier is wondering how people actually enjoy it. *shudders*

And scarier yet, people actually enjoy it as a serious dance song. One of my classmates had a conniption over her fifty-year-old co-worker doin' da stanky legg in the kitchen of a restaurant.
It would be epically hilarious, though, if the GS Boyz really WERE just pulling everyone's leg (no pun intended) and one day released a message to the all the clubs out there that their hit single was just a huge joke on the rap community...and the whole lot of them fell for it.

You want something ridiculous being taken seriously AND on top of that producing loads of money? Nothing like Chacarron Macarron, aye? Here are the beautiful lyrics [/sarcasm]

A few thousand of my brain cells just made a suicide attempt from watching that. Music was once something beautiful and sacred. An art and means of expression. Well, not everything stays sacred.

Jeez, that guy sounds like he tried to glue his mouth shut with some kind of liquor-based adhesive before performing.
