I looked and couldn't find anything, but if this has already been posted somewhere, I apologize. There's a Megaman movie being done by fans that will be available to watch online for free on the 4th of July. Hopefully, they'll stick to that release date, but apparently they're not promising anything. Not sure how long it's been in the works, but it looks pretty cool/funny. Here's the site for it. Watch the trailer - you'll laugh your arse off.

I gotta tell you, that is pretty funny. But I do have to give these guys a little credit- the actors they've chosen for Light and Wily are good fits. I like how the robot masters are more mechanical-like. The costumes do their job without looking too silly. As for the trailer, good choice using Steve Jablonsky's music to set the atmosphere. All in all, it can't look anywhere near as bad as the abomination that was the Dragonball movie months ago (thank God I passed on that one). I might actually see this one if they get it out by the 4th.

Dude! I don't know what you're talking about...Dragonball Evolution = best movie of the year.......Not really. I waited and followed it for a year, posting on forums and even recording a podcast, only to be extremely disappointed when it came out. I don't think any adaptation could be worse than that piece of garbage. Lol.
This is made by fans, so of course it won't be perfect. It does look really cool, though. I agree - they found great people to play Wily and Light.
"I don't want power, and you need to rethink your goals." - Lol.

I had already heard about this, and I had seen the site before. But the trailer's new to me. It reminds me of the Megaman cartoon: Rock and Roll look like teens, Wily has an accent, Light's beard is shorter (of course, a beard the size of Dr. Light's would be insane), and the Robot Masters are slightly off model. Well, very off model for the movie. I don't see why they chose that actor for Megaman: he doesn't look superhero-y at all, and is nowhere near 10 years old (the age Mega was designed to look like and feel like). He looks rather lazy and slow in the trailer. His outfit resembles X and .EXE's outfits more than Classic MM's outfit. In contrast, Roll seems very active and her outfit is near perfect. She reminds me of myself- I go to great legnths to show how wierd I am, I act extremely childish, and I have started a list of fictional boys I would date if I were a fictional girl, and this dude is at the very top: www.goemon.info/ganbare/good/ebisumaru.shtmlJokes aside, her character would be very fitting... I f her actor was younger. An older girl being so hyperactive makes her look just as odd as me. Also, the computer-animated RMs do not fit in the environment, and look vastly different to the live-action ones. Other than this long list of complaints and unnessesary peeks at my personal life, the movie looks pretty good. Looks action-packed, and the love between Rock and Roll (sibling love, not like me and Ebisumaru) seems like it may be a strong theme, as well as Dr. Light's beliefs about robots. Great special effects, too. But if I see it, I won't think of it as a Megaman movie. I'll think of it having nothing to do with him, as it may be a poor adaptation of the series, but a great movie on its own. You won't know until you've seen it. And speaking of Dragonball Evolution, I'm ashamed it's called that. I saw episode one of the original Dragonball, and it's nothing like this. Goku was younger, the themes and atmosphere were lighter, it was very funny at times, and it was a twisted (in a good way) adaptation of an old Chinese fairy tale. This movie is the exact opposite. A more fitting title would have been "Dragonball Z Evolution". That's when it went away from its roots, but it was still good. The movie is more based off of the later series than the first. Of course, I don't know all that much about Dragonball or the later series. I'm ashamed I call myself an otaku.

I can't watch the trailer, because I'm stuck with the crabby dial-up. But I'll find a way to watch it once it's completed; at the very least, it sounds interesting.
Also, I never saw Dragon Ball Evolution, but I thought the best thing about it was how it apparently dropped off the edge of the Earth when it was released. This is the first time I've heard anyone mention it anywhere since the commercials started playing.

This site's been up for a while. I beleive at one point it was supposed to be done december 2008 or something like that. But in the one trailer where Doc Light is giving the presentation I love how Wily mocks what Roll says and the way he says it. LOL ;D

I know this is off-topic, but since Dragonball Evolution is being discussed here too, I though I could say it here. I played Dragon Ball: Origins for the DS, read the wikipedia article for the movie, and I have 2 complaints.
First, Goku is all wrong: he's no longer innocent, naive or mildly oblivious to some things. The REAL Goku mistook Bulma's truck for a boy-eating monster, thought a marriage was a fruit, and was sure Master Roshi (who they got wrong, too) would like a muscular, obese-looking girl.
Second, where the heck did Oolong and Pilaf go? The battle against Oolong was interesting, and he made a great and humorous addition to the team, especially against the Rabbit Gang. Even though Pilaf was small, his role was epic, especially when Shelong appeared, and during the battle against the Pilaf Robot. Speaking of Shelong, the wish scene would rock in live action:
Pilaf: I... I wish for supreme...
Oolong: COMFORT IN A PAIR OF UNDERWEAR!
*Shelong poofs up underwear*
;D ;D ;D

I don't think it's really possible for the Megaman movie to be quite that bad, but I still hope it's better.
