I wanted to ask a question on the "bumping old threads" thread about what to do when you want someone to notice the edits you've made to your posts but I realized that I'm the last one who posted there so if I edit it chances are no one will see it for quite some time. I don't now what to do! Please help.

Ye olde method of bumping something when you have a legitimate reason:
1) Edit your post 2) Add your new thoughts 3) Add the original date to your old thoughts beside the original post 4) Copy whole post with edits to clipboard or notepad 5) Delete old post 6) Make new post 7) Paste in content from clipboard or notepad
Remember, to all those reading this: If there's a large time gap between your new post and the last post in the thread (which is now the post before yours) that would normally get a warning, then you will get a warning. If we also see that the same thread keep manages to make it back to the top of the list without actually increasing in post count (we aren't dumb, you know) then there's the chance we'll hit you with a warning, too.
